Somebody needs to give Kim the largest Immodium tablet possible to try to contain that case of "Diarrhea of the mouth" he has.

The miliary exercise will go on unabated and NK will stand down. Watch.

Never count your chickens before there hatched. Its an unpredictable but predictable nation but then again with its background it is a nation that needs to be taken into account as even a minor skirmish can result in quadruple digits in casualties on all sides involved.

You know once star craft 2 comes out they will be to busy to wage wars.
And I actually played against some of these nerd Koreans in online games and they are dam nerdy and dedicated at that. When I was really into video games it seemed there was a couple of them now and then that kept dieing of heart attacks from playing to there physical limitations. Like this dude. It almost happened to me once to but I was not as nerdy as them, and had to hit the gym as well or go crazy from all that sitting.

If they ever stop making star craft or online games, these people will have nothing to do so would end up in the military or the government were they will control the systems there.........then with a little free rains and someone to point them at a invading zerg army just the right direction, in a simulation off course, they might take over north Korea by accident in such a game.
I hear the Japanese companies like Panasonic and Sony and others are having a hard time competing with the South Koreans, so hard in fact they decided to join forces so they would stand a chance. Those Korean companies tv's and other techs are selling pretty well in the states and elsewhere as well.

This shouldnt be news! They threaten "all out war" every week. I read some numbers just yesterday(I'll look up the source and post them soon) that the North Korea leadership threatens some type of military action against the US or SK an average of 5 times per week. Its sad, really.

All this is leading to the final showdown. A New World Order where the US and our allies are in control. Think about it...the only real threat to the US in the world is China and Russia. If we attack North Korea, we would be right on China's doorstep. China would ultimately be surrounded and would one day be taken out. Same thing with Russia. The wars in the middle east are proxy wars toward Russia...and North Korea would be a proxy war with China.

Who knows...maybe the attack on the South Korean ship was a false flag. Maybe with these military drills, there may be another false flag which will bring us to all out war with North Korea. Guess we'll see soon.

Ah but there lies the trick whose "proxy" is it exactly the east or the wests or some other force entirely. American or Russian or china one thing is certain, that history has shown that those who assume a proxy is theres... there usually wrong, as for those who know, well then they will also tell you they know the future, and sell you some magic beens, jack. Your name is jack is it not, want to buy some special beens.
just joking there are no beens. Oh man I'm bored need to go out and do something. Peace to you.

Isn't it that simple? If the US and Europe say, "No thanks China, we don't want your goods"

Yeah but China can produce basic electrical goods that work for a couple of years before going bust for a few dollars and then EU and US companies can sell them for many many times more. Chinese ebay sellers even offer stuff like cables & electronic components for less than half a dollar sometimes, and that's including postage!!

It's so cheap that it's ridiculous. This cheap labour has become an addiction to the west along with the easy credit that banks handed out. Without it the rich would have to start doing real jobs once again, and that'll never happen unless they're forced to.

Nope, they don't. Kim has outlawed his people from owning books. Also newspapers and many other things.

You're right that North Korea threaten war all of the time but it's not often that we see tensions running this high during their threats, and it US policy that has changed since the Cheonan was sunk which has changed the game slightly rather than North Korea changing their rhetoric.

You seem to use the term "nerd" as if its a bad thing.
Do you dislike technology? Well Nerds are the ones improving it.
In my opinion, as long as the game your playing takes some thought
(Such as Starcraft- Strategies/etc) then I don't see anything wrong.

In Korea, competitive strategy games like StarCraft is a sport. They make money off of it. Unlike here in the U.S. most people don't consider thought-provoking games to be a sport. (Chess anyone?)

Also - Don't know if you were joking or not, but I'm pretty sure people from North Korea don't play Starcraft.

Sorry to derail the topic, thought his post was a bit biased - so I had to respond.

Now on to the topic.
I'm surprised NK leaders keep repeating the same thing every month.
It's like... tell us something we don't know already.

Yes - your angry.. we are too. Now What? Zz.

N. Korea issues threats as U.S. leads exercises

ABOARD USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (AP) — A nuclear-powered U.S. supercarrier led an armada of warships in exercises off the Korean peninsula on Sunday that North Korea has vowed to physically block and says could escalate into nuclear war.

The military exercise just began a few hours ago. How far away from the yellow sea would they be now???

Thing is that why should Kim say the will use nuclear weapons?

I don't think that some one like him would say something like this just for saying it. He wants to be taken seriously and that can't be achieved if you just bark and don't bite.

Of course he's a maniac, but I don't think that the U.S. and S.Korea should take this as a joke and risk the death of many many people. Because they will be the ones to blame if the SHTF. He warned us...

Well if you read the article. Kim ain't threatening to use nuclear weapons. Kim is saying that they will display a large exercise of their own with nuclear weapons.

This discussion is the result of people who can't read a article properly. Its a common thing on ATS now a days.

Even the media don't understand their own sentences. The media explicit write exercise. How can they go public and say that NK is going to attack?????? When that's not the case at all.

I at least thought that people on ATS would see the difference. But i guess NOT.

North Korea says the maneuvers could compel it "to start a retaliatory sacred war."

Well I guess they DO talk about an attack.. But what do I know eh?

"Could" does not mean attack.

This is a jester that is always a case when someone is having a large exercise. When China had its Navy exercise last moth. Japan when out and mentioned hostile actions by China.

When NATO have its yearly military exercise in the northern part of Europe, Russia mobilized to. The US/NATO do the same when Russia conducts theirs.

Remember the Kursk incident?

NO I have nothing against nerds notice I said I played games online against these nerds who died because they didn't take a break, in fact a couple of times I burst a blood vessel in my eye from playing to much. I guess I would be a sort of nerd so I don't have nothing against them. As for north Korea I would of put more effort in to conquering them. " That way all your time is free to play star craft 2" they talk to much its just a proxy of china and the USA basically. Though some north and south communists and capitalists, the boogie man lil kim.

Disappointed? Man, you really want us return to dark age?

We need to remember the quote by Albert Einstein.

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."

You really desperate that we will lose everything and start everything from the scratch or you might have heavy debt and hope the WWIII will wipe out your debt? Actually, WWIII will wipe out your existence, you win either way.
