"I don't think a helicopter is what was witnessed," wrote one commentator on the forum Above Top Secret.

"I do, however think that it is definitely a helicopter in this picture and is more than likely unrelated to the incident."

ATS being quoted in Australia now...

Does this mean even Aussie Media checks in on ATS???

The link is saying that they still wont say what the China UFO was....

Yeah I saw that earlier, but I forgot to post it here. I think that they have probably noticed that a few of us Aussies are using there news links as sources on some of our threads

Yeah, I've used Ninemsn a few times, atleast they have some credibility..

Kinda nice to see ATS get a mention..

Shows the site is worth watching...

Makes me wonder who is the member watching for them..

...could also be a case of simple Google Investigative Reporting...

...quite a few Media guys I know use Google all the time when they are writing up a story to see what - if anything - has already been said anywhere about their topic, to get other info and other sources/commentary etc...

True, but lets stick with the notion that ATS is well worth visiting..

ATS has been mentioned a couple of times in mainstream media.

I was quoted in an article in The Guardian back when Air Force One did the flyover of New York. It's kinda cool to get that recognition and see that people actually pay attention to us.

Indeed it is.

ATS has featured a few times in News stories and TV Docos/Specials over the years.

It seems that "Cam" from Weekend Today, on Nine, seems to be quite convinced that there is something valid to the U.F.O. phenomenon and he's not afraid to say so.

This is a positive step. Maybe Nine is starting to realise that many people are waking up to the possibility of there being someone smarter than us out there and breaking from the mould of ridicule.

There would be alot of media companies trolling in here to get a story before anyone else

Its great when the whoring corporate media notice us, and pat us on the head with their leprous hands.

Er - nope, they can *SNIP* off as far as I'm concerned - the less attention we get from the scum the better.

Not only media companies there are several people from the film industry that do go through the threads about twice a week. One person in particular who i know does actually interact with several members within here without revealing his identity or his intentions.
