ABC are reporting Rudd's supporters have done the arithmetic and are conceding defeat.

Can you (ever so helpful) dudes provide links to live news coverage from Australian media ? I'd love to watch it. Sky News Australia website seems to be struggling with demand right now.

ABC are reporting Rudd's resigned ! And that the ALP have got a free run to elect Gillard.

It's pretty clear he's lost.

I feel sorry for him not that he hasnt brought this on himself.
