Not much structure in Ocotillo.

M5.7 is indeed not something you see every day in that region...

I really hope this isn't the start of something waking up.

Peace

My wife just called from San Diego... said it was a pretty good shaker/roller.

5.9 not so bad. I hope that was it and just small after-shocks to follow.

EDIT to add 'roller'

Felt it in South Bay Los Angeles....was bigger than most recently.

Not a shaker...but a roller.

CALIFORNIANS know what that means.

Start to feel like you're going to get sea sick..lol.

Woke me up though...was ready to jump off my balcony

I live in northern California. Thankfully no earthquake here. Keep us updated on the big news. I hope there are no tsunami warnings.

Quite a few aftershocks already, looks like there was a tiny hiccup before the bigger one.

I wonder if this earthquake (roller)
has affected the oil well head
at the spill site ???
If it rolled, it may have opened
the well up bigger.

That little 1.6 about half an hour earlier at 19km depth makes me really curious.

Maybe a warning? Seems like I need to do some research for the same type, small magnitude large depth earthquakes before deep ones....

Or it could have effectively pinched it off...

You never know...

But more likely the latter...
