Planet Wasp12B, A planet in our galaxy, was spotted being eaten by a star. It has the highest surface temperature of any planet in the milky way at 2800 Fahrenheit. Its also the biggest planet, with a mass being 40 percent greater than that of Jupiter, and is nearly 300 times the size of the earth.

This is the first time something like this has been seen so clearly.

"We see a huge cloud of material around the planet, which is escaping and will be captured by the star. We have identified chemical elements never before seen on planets outside our own solar system," team leader Carole Haswell of The Open University in Great Britain said.

Golly that's really hot dude. Just how, though, do you know there are not any hotter planets in our galaxy? Oh, while I'm at it, if you know that much you must also know how many planets there are in our galaxy too.

Or maybe you've been smoking Sirian Gold....
