N.Korea warns of war if South retaliates over ship

www.alertnet.org

North Korea said on Thursday it would take strong measures, including war, if the South imposes sanctions after accusing it of sinking a navy ship, Yonhap news agency said.

The North's National Defence Commission said in a statement carried on its state radio, and monitored by Yonhap, that the South's findings blaming it for the sinking of the navy corvette were a fabrication. (Reporting by Jack Kim, editing by Jonathan Thatcher)

Wow, this is really escalating. I wonder how the United States will respond if a war breaks out between these two.

If North Korea really did sink the ship, that is kind of messed up to threaten retaliation for South Korea responding to it. That reminds me of street thugs roughing someone up and threatening worse to happen if the person complains.

The reason North Korea attacked the South Korean ship is because they

knew they could get away with it. N. Korea might of calculated the U.S.

would do nothing after the attack ^Y^

"Oh no, Hans Brix?!"
"Oh, hi Hans!"

This is such crap, treating this Stalinist monster like a man...
Kill him and his government, and free the slave pen currently known as North Korea.
This is the duty of free men.

Yep. Everything i have seen in the news and on the crapnet basically says that SK isnt goign to do anything tangible other than blaming NK. I wouldnt be looking for anything here.

The US and China are more worried about the ME (since thats where the oil is duh). You can believe both sides are reigning in the Korea situation to make sure nothing happens.

Chess not checkers.
