Another LA Teacher asking for a Mexican Revolution

Ron Gochez, who for some unknown reason remains a teacher at Santee H.S. Complex in Los Angeles, is at it again in this video, railing against the police as "apes of repression" who only "protect the rich". Gochez, here at a hearing investigating alleged police brutality at the 2007 May Day Protest in California (July 9, 2007) calls L.A. the "occupied terrotories of Mexico" and says he "represents" a "Mexican revolutionary organization"

Gochez also rails: "And for the youth...The police will never listen to us. They will never be our friends. Never had. They never will. They are here to serve and protect the interest of the rich. They always had, they always will. We have to organize our communities and that's the only way we will defend our human rights." Is this what he teaches his kids in class at Santee H.S.? What exactly does he teach about "occupied Mexico", "Aztlan", "frail white racists" and "revolution"?

If Gochez had been a Caucasian teacher who called for a white uprising against the U.S. government, disparaged minorities, and launched an anti-Semitic diatribe against the media, there is little doubt he would have been dismissed within 3 days, let alone the 3 years that Cochez has remained on the job since his shocking words were made public. L.A. would not stand behind "free speech" or "civil rights" arguments. He would just be GONE. For L.A.County to "boycott" the state of Arizona for what it calls "racial profiling", while one of its own teachers spoke to his students about fighting a racial "enemy", is the height of hypocrisy. Our Facebook page--nearly 200,000 strong--will continue to put the pressure on until Gochez is disciplined. Race-baiting hate speech has no place in our public school system.

Now we have another LA Hispanic teacher speaking out against the occupation of California and 100years of oppression of the Hispanic populace.

What is in the waters over their in California? Don't these idiotas realize that they lost a war with the US when California was conquered in the 1800's?

I don't know, do you have a date on this video? It's hard to tell exaclty why he is going on this way.

I wonder who he is going to call, if his house is broken into, or if his car is stolen, or if he gets robbed and beaten.

He sure didn't gain any support from the police department he was admonishing.

Uhhh, the Israelis lost Palestine to the Muslim world, yet not too many Americans seem to have a problem with the land being forcefully taken from the Palestinians and given "back" to the Israelis.


Deal with it, the land isn't rightfully America's, the entire area of North America was stolen by Europeans from the indigenous peoples. If the Israelis can take their land back, why can't the native Americans?

Really, Are you calling the Hispanics Native Americans? I think you need to go back to reading some history books instead of the "La Raza" fairytale you might have been paying attention too.
