Alright, first of all I'd like to say WOOPWOOP my first thread!

And I'm sorry if this isn't the appropriate place for this topic but I couldn't think of any other.

So heres the scoop. Today I went for a baptism to my local church which I visited on many different occasions, but somehow never stumbled across this. While just walking around, something caught my attention on a piece of stained glass. When I first seen it I got those chills all over my body, you know what I mean. Thankfully I had brought my camera so I took 2 pictures just for you guys
( and girls )

here you go

So what do you guys make of this? I know the whole all seeing eye and what not. But I dont think this should be in a Christian church which I'm sure everyone would agree, unless I'm missing something here. In my opinion, I think this just proves more to the fact that Christianity is a pagan religion based off the Egyptians.

I don't exactly know what you mean by "what kind of church" it is, but its Catholic Church if that's what you mean. Age you should roughly get from my 2nd post with the info posted.

Also here is a link to the church's site.

Yea I guess. I remember hearing that somewhere

Did you say Amun at the end of your prayers today instead of Amen?

I wonder if somebody at the Church office knows who selected the stained glass for the window or who the artist was?

I think that is the All-Seeing Eye of GOD?
I really like stained glass artwork because when I look at it in the daytime vs nighttime they always make me feel different emotions.

Conspiracy The symbology of the Great Seal of the United States, and its subsequent use on the dollar bill (especially the pyramid and the Eye of Providence above the pyramid) are popular topics among conspiracy theorists. Conspiracy theorists are of the opinion that much of the symbolism involves occultism. For example, because the Eye of Providence above the unfinished pyramid is similar to the ancient Egyptian Eye of Horus, a charm, relating to the Pagan/Egyptian sun-god Horus which symbolized that worshipers will be protected and given royal powers from Pagan deities. In fact, Eye of Providence was a common Christian emblem symbolizing the Trinity throughout the Middle Ages and Renaissance[citation needed]. Conspiracy theorists also note that the unfinished pyramid has thirteen steps (or that some other element of the Seal numbers thirteen), and are of the opinion that the number 13 has conspiratorial significance. The explanation for the repetition of the number thirteen is that this number represents the original thirteen colonies which became the first thirteen states.

I think Amun was the Egyptian god of creation.

Amen is supposeldy handed down from Amun, or a carry over into Christianity.

Yes, I too think its the eye of Horus, some may say it looks different, but its like hiding a message in a message. It may not look like the eye of Horus exactly, but it sure is "pointing in that direction" if you know what I mean.

Eye of Providence

The Eye of Providence, or the all-seeing eye of God, is a symbol showing an eye often surrounded by rays of light or a glory and usually enclosed by a triangle. It is sometimes interpreted as representing the eye of God watching over humankind. (see Divine Providence).

In the modern era, the most notable depiction of the eye is the reverse of the Great Seal of the United States, which appears on the United States one-dollar bill.

Wow, blatant imagery and symbolism!

I have a feeling if you ask the priest he will tell you the history of the stained glass.

Is it possible the eye and pyramid are symbols of a church organization like Knights of Columbus or some other Catholic Society?

Is it possible catholic freemasons donated the money for the stain glass?

www.freemasonrywatch.org...

Please visit this above link and tell me what you think of the picture of the Pope's Cross, with the pyramid and all seeing eye. Scroll down and look at the buildings, one has a pyramid and all seeing eye.

This seems to be a recurring theme.

This next link is a blog, so take it for what you will. It is called the eye of horus in churches. This is not a unique situation.

seeker401.wordpress.com...

"most of those pictures come from catholic/orthodox churches in europe or america..particularly worrying is that i havent noticed these eyes before!..but i will now.."

Very interesting, maybe someone else can add more to shed light on the topic.
