The Board Is Really Slow Lately

Check out these stats while accessing www.abovetopsecret.com.... This isn't that uncommon for me. I feel like I'm back on dial-up.

And look at what the stats given by the Alexa traffic ranking say about this site.

Speed: Very Slow (12th percentile)

Does everyone need to pitch in $5 - $10 for a better server? Or maybe the database just needs re-indexed.

It is super slow today, Maybe alot of codes being changed maybe.

Fine on this end as well! Status quo.

Though I may not be operating at full capacity, the board's loading fine for me.

A little bit slow today, but nothing really huge.

But don't worry, you'll know they're in needs when the paypal link will come back.

You can be sure I'll pitch in once in a while then.

I really only notice when I am going to bts or to ats from bts.

The Alexa data is old.... that's why I've included the Alexa spidering images in our pages. It would also help if every member installed the Alexa toolbar! Otherwise, we're having the usual semi-busy day, already 20,000+ user sessions today (that used to be a big day).

What is the Alexa toolbar and how can it help?

download.alexa.com... Alexa, owned and managed by Amazon, attempts to rank websites as a function of actual users who go there. A lot of other services use the Alexa data for various functions. A low Alexa rating is a good thing.
