ACORN disbanding because of money woes, scandal

news.yahoo.com

There should be plenty of money out there for ACORN, yet they claim they don't have the revenue to continue to operate?

Is this really about the revenue or this something else?

I would have to ask, in the wake of the passage of the healthcare bill, is this instead really "Mission accomplished"?

Acorn to Shut All Its Offices by April 1

The community organizing group Acorn announced Monday that it would close all its remaining state affiliates and field offices by April 1.

www.nytimes.com...

April 1st, what a day to pick!

What he said.

They're getting rid of a tarnished name. Nothing more. There's been no remorse nor wish to amend their ways. In the case of these activists, the ends justify the means, and if they have to nuke New York to get their way, then those millions of people should be grateful to have such an opportunity.

The arrogance of this special interest group is remarkable and the willingness of politicians to go along with it is... Well... Not surprising.

ACORN branches rename, rebrand after video scandal

I read that the New York and California branches have renamed themselves.

So if ACORN publicly shuts down on April 1st, I wonder what it will be reborn as?
