Hello ATS, the most truly democratic society.

Here we are not discriminated against by our appearance, which takes necessary precedence in the "real" world because of our biology. But other parts are much more important, as we, as a species, have discovered.

Hence the overwhelming success of our ATS, a refuge for the frustrated, the victims of brain fatigue, soul fatigue, social fatigue, and political fatigue, not to mention economic.

So we are all here together and somehow it helps.

I propose to you, ATS, that somewhere among us are the people we need to fill offices in our local, state, and national government.

There are more than enough intelligent, compassionate natural leaders here on this site, and in the communities of sharp ATSers to fill offices to overflowing and give things a chance to begin the evolution to a better city, state, country, and even world, as more and more of our international members realize their potential and do exactly the same things.

I cannot speak for the election systems and laws in other countries, but I know the people who can are here among us.

There are Constitutional lawyers here among us. I entreat them to speak to us about how to exploit our resources, and make the right kind of revolution happen, rather than suffering through advocates of throwing out everything (even the truly good things), as if our ancestors suffering and work means nothing.

Are write-in campaigns still legal? What are the rules, if any? What are the loopholes? Is it free? What, if any, are the real barriers we should begin to break down?

The next part goes to us, ATS.

We need no advertising, we need no permission. We are everywhere, and millions strong. There are relationships and reputations here that go back several years. That is a type of credibility that most politicians don't have, and can't build among thinking, rational, or caring people.

All we need is to begin identifying members of ATS or their communities who deserve a chance to do their kind of good for us as people.

Free of bigotry since there are few member photos, free of worries over disabilities, since the postings have proven the ability and worth of the members, free to ignore foolish bickering and get down to the talented, intelligent "accomplishers" who have gained respect, for good reason, among us, we are in a unique and powerful position we should not fail to recognize and begin to test and use.

School board members can be nominated here with a simple organized document on Google docs. This begins the process of change on a local level, in a realistic and reasonable manner. Those positions are incredibly valuable to the schools in any area. Their strategic importance, as far as the good of our young is concerned, cannot and must not be overlooked any longer.

Untangling the maze of local politics must begin somewhere. We can educate ourselves and test the local laws as needed until needed changes are identified and shaped, over time. With reason, and humanity.

There should no longer be a trade-off for these things, reason and humanity. We have better people who are available to serve.

People with the wisdom of experience, people with the brilliance of youth. Many, many others.

Whoever among us is available, fit, and willing should be found, volunteer, nominate, or become nominated.

We can use the write in, and help support those who want to serve, or who are best suited and willing to serve.

We can't do worse than the recent past, folks. Again, there are track records already in place among us and among our communities. We are smart and we know who some of them are. Among these, our future leaders are to be found, if we are willing to believe in the common denominators we have discovered, tested, and approved here at ATS, the best darn democracy in the real world today, possibly. Nothing is perfect, but we can do pretty well, I think, due to the many strengths of our individual members, and the balance each brings to the whole.

We are many, and we can mobilize into a better, more effective, positive revolution.

Well, I told myself that my undergrad degree in Political Science would get me somewhere some day, and this may just be it.

I will nominate myself, as I promote Social Capital on this site regularly...in addition, I will not have a problem telling my peers or constituents what dumb asses they are when necessary.

My campaign motto will be: "Beer Me"

*All campaign contributions will be used at my own discretion, with absolutely no oversight by anyone...

Common sense would dictate that people get a reality check as needed, rather than a fairy tale that we would be forced to wake up from eventually, as it seems to be nowadays.

This is exactly the kind of down-to-earth, serious-but-human approach I was referring to.

Who else but a real person would understand what is most needed in our leadership today?

Any lack of distinction would actually make you a preferred candidate in my book, friend!

I am serious, however. Are you qualified to run PR for another member who could hold office? That is a key position to tell the truth or make things clearer, at least, to the public. Why not have one of our own to help one of our own?

There are so many roles that could be filled. Support personnel are part of the package, so peer groups formed by intelligence would be a plus for a change if they come from ATS.

Of course there are exceptions, but no one should feel anything but glad to be associated with someone who has gained a reputation built on good sense, rational intelligence, and humane compassion, not to mention well-developed specialized skills that are simply ignored by the current system.

Why, for instance, are there so many psychology grads out of work, and so much need for counseling and therapy in EVERY single aspect of our culture?

Ridiculous. So the thing to do, rationally, is to begin filling positions with people who can and will begin to alter this approach.

We must educate ourselves as to the schedule of elections and the requirements and even the name of the positions that are there, all around us.

It will not be easy, I suspect, but it is still possible. We should act now.

Oh.... they damn sure would not want me in the oval... I do not do intimidation worth crap, dislike greatly certain nations (who would be on the special list to get NOTHING) and certain others would get helped...

i have no tolerance for a criminal politician and would not bat an eye about exposing them right to the american people. Spending would crash so damn hard ... the government would step back...

I have no problems with dealing with hostile nations... and it damn sure would not be with a rule of political corrctness.... our military would clearly not be discriminated upon, demonized, or subjected to trials for doing their jobs... and that brings up another aspect.... they are fighting a war against an enemy that is barbaric... so bring it right to them, and do what ever is needed to break the backs of the enemy....

There would be protection and care for our elderly and our veterans...

Total enforcement of all immigrtion laws no matter what....

Taxes would be curtailed and dropped massively, along with corporate tax, programs to fund small business and get them started.

ANd totally limit the way the government screws with peoples lives.... in other words get that back in line with what they are legally allowed to actually do...

screw this political correctness issues and bring back common sense and discipline to the government..... by force if needed...

ANd if needed then I would also disbann the supreme court and the congress and bring everything right back to the constitution... and those that are appaled by that aspect... better pack it and get out....

and there is more but I have no patience for ignorance nor those that would tear this nation down and turn it into a nation of candy asses and socialists....

Although I do not have the standing of some other members, I agree.

Along with this process will be the necessity of finding out which worthy members or citizens are not only able but willing to serve and free to do so, i.e. family obligations, etc.

Bravo!

Please continue to speak up!

This is how it happens.

I, for one, would support Maya Angelou as Secretary of State.

The woman is a national treasure, and we know her amazing insight and sensitive, rational intelligence from her long career.

Other talents so far overlooked:

John Stewart, White House press secretary;

Stephen Colbert, Department of the Interior.

I am hoping someone has a good candidate for the Secretary of Defense.

What would make someone a good candidate?

My first concern is a familiarity with the military coupled with a strong diplomatic base. Someone who doesn't want war in the first place.

I got your comment to my profile, and instead of answering via U2U, here I am.

Just a heads up, for those interested, politics has always been there.

Putting our names into the ballot boxes, was always an option, always.

There are of course limits, like age, restrictions like certain requirements, an example you might need so many signatures on a petition.

Each city, county, state, and country has a different set of standards.

I have always believed that our responsibility does not stop at the voting booth, but begins there, and ends when we have actually gotten into office and done something about the direction we want to see our nation.

I was taught to never be a follower, ever, but be a leader, and lead by example.

Having learned from age six, from a former Vietnam era Marine, my stepfather, and a small town farm girl for a mother, about each and every level of Government, reading books of history, Government, military, Intelligence Agencies, many alternative histories, learning the Art of War, learning, living, and teaching that until it became doctrinal rote and turning it around on it's face and into the Art of Peace, for a balance, a Yin and Yang if you will, I have found over my lifespan, that American's want a change but are too afraid, lack the knowledge, or believe someone else should go into politics other than themselves.

I answer this thread and profile message here, instead of U2U, so I am open and clear.

I find it extremely difficult to say either yes or no to a call to go into office.

While I find it refreshing to finally hear other people speak of it and see my name suggested, this is not the first thread of its kind, I have done many.

And each and every one flops, because people are not willing to actually do what it takes, which is use diplomacy, not pick up an M-16, block of C-4, or a noose to go take out the corruption by force, but put their name on a ballot, and commit to a course of legal and non-violent action.

Having said that, I'm going to break from that, and address the below poster.

I will come back to finish addressing you, original poster, as well as the topic.

I am actually floored that you, mentioned my ATS member name.

I'm not offended, but we rarely see eye to eye, if at all.

Our interactions are often on such controversial topics, such as my recent cloning thread, or one where I am mentioning the acceptance of illegal power, and my stance of not doing those things because of the inherent loss of honor, responsibility, or morals completely which is lacking now in places like Washington D.C., a place where someone with morals, ethics, and or beliefs would not only be ridiculed, but seen as a threat to the ignorant status quo, of illicit acitivities, or corruption, and pandering to the citizens of America, while simultaneously negating them completely by accepting legal bribery via lobbyists and special interest groups for their re-election machine and being bought.

So, forgive me if you will, as I was a bit flabbergasted when you did that.

It was unexpected, to say the least, and quite wholly pleasant but odd at the same time.

I guess what I am saying to you, specifically, nine-eyed-eel, is thank you.

But at the same time, why, and for what purpose would you see me as viable?

With our respective differences it is not something I would think you might do, because I would not expect you to do something like that, and it makes me wonder.

Back to the original poster.

I have been trying, quite unsuccessfully I might add, to get people to wake up, for quite some time to the possibility that they can actually exact the change they want in the world, seeing as this is an International Community, by stepping forward, and committing to positive actions.

I have done many threads which have bordered on telling people not only to quit their bitching, but if they will not do something, they have no right to complain.

The whole "right-wing/left-wing" diatribe, has always been a waste of time, to me, that people fall into these traps of selecting a side is ridiculous.

The same can be said of the "Republican/Democrat" slants, that is all it is, is a slant, to a side, not a country, a divisive and competitive nature.

I will tell you now, I am a registered "Independent" and will remain so, period.

I thought Bush was nothing more than a puppet of Dick Cheney and the Bush family.

I believe 9/11 was not only allowed to happen, but it was directed to happen.

My meaning is that the policy think-tank Project for the New American Century knew in advance, and not only allowed it to happen, but planned for it to happen, and profit from it, I have proved it in many threads and I stand 100% behind that statement.

I think Barack Obama is a waste of hot air, and his color has zero to do with it.

He is a puppet of the Kennedy family, and nothing more, and not good for America.

The man speaks in cotton candy words, gumdrop dreams, and rainbow smiles.

Those are of course, my opinions, based upon political knowledge and experience.

Anyone has the right to disagree with me, that's fine, but I will defend my stance.

Tooth and nail, blood and sweat, and word for word, I will back up each and every statement I have made, every ideal I share, and every bit of evidence of collusive behavior of those foul cretins in Washington D.C.

Before I say yes or no, to something like the original poster suggests, I suggest people actually see what I have to say more, because I see it as a responsibility, yes, but when I say that, I mean it, and I believe people will falter.

Political Collusion of a President and Congress in Collapsing America, The Fall of the New Rome

Bilderberger : The Global Agenda, Eugenics, Global Warming, And Biochiping Sheeple

Racism : Self-Empowerment or Being an Ignorant Bully, and Suppressing Freedom

New World Order : There Is No Such Thing, Architect's of Lies, They Created A Phantom Menace

Would You Accept Illegal Power If It Was Offered To You?

Divide and Conquer : Political Ideology of the Power Elite, Selling The Peace, War Is The Motive

How To Overthrow Your Own Government, Legally and Without Violence, In Order To Survive

Truth and Lies of 9/11 : Mike Ruppert, C.I.A. Drug Running, and Your Government

Obamaland : Cotton Candy, Gumdrops, and Rainbow Dreams, This is the Land of Collusion

There is a distinct reason as to why I included those threads, because it has been suggested over 1,001 times now by people I speak to in real life as well as people around the world, both on ATS and off, that I run for the Presidency of the United States of America.

I spoke to a local friend the other night who I have known for fourteen years, and told her, if and when I ever go to Washington D.C., for politics, I am the only one who is picking how I go and what I go for.

My meaning is not that I will not go if others ask but that I have a plan.

It is a complex, yet simple, well thought out, plan of action, and I've been planning it since I was six years old, so it has changed many times.

I have shared many portions, but in no way is all of it on ATS, and those threads above, as well as the one at the very bottom of this verbose post should show people exactly what I believe America wants, and what I believe are things I will stand behind and not stand for.

So, in closing, my answer is neither yes, nor is it no, but that I will wait and see.

As far as I am concerned, ATS has the makings of a policy think-tank, with all the people who spend hours, days, years uncovering Government corruption, collusion, and complicity, but that is up to ATS.

Having said all of that, I must give you forewarning, that this thread does approach a direct violation of ATS and the Terms and Conditions, therein, and that each and every post, thread, and or reply I have made, including this one, is and has been written so as to not violate those.

I have written them to allow other people to see quite clearly that they have a legal recourse for actions, in their very public lives, private civilian lives.

Off of ATS, because if you are not careful, a thread such as this can be seen as recruiting.

Something I am very careful not to do, in order to keep my membership.

I am not a "big shot" but I will help this along by planting seeds everywhere and i've decided to just come straight out in the public, it is time to SHOCK THE WORLD!!

While I must say I like your optimism,I think our time is up for having a restored Republic.

Who can go against the tide that's raging from the headquarters of Washington D.C. and their agents of destruction?

Haven't they already ignored the voice of average Americans as they have spoken? Haven't they already rewritten laws to put themselves above and beyond the Constitution?

This doesn't mean I believe we all roll over and lick the hands of our oppressors or that we should allow ourselves to go down in unchallenged defeat. There will be conflict for each and every one of us as we stand for liberty and our God-given right to life.

If anything, communities of friends and neighbors could form small groups to help see each other through the times ahead, and the same positive attributes you described would be most welcome and needed.

I believe TBTB have released "The Angel in the Whirlwind",as detailed in Tom Horn's book,"Apollyon Rising 2012" and we are not dealing with ordinary circumstances.(www.newswithviews.com...)

I think what we can do is to "get our own houses in order" and be prepared to watch the terrible drama unfold as this country is torn apart at the seams.

None of what is happening today occurred overnight. There must surely have been groups and individuals that tried to stem the tide of totalitarianism, but the dark forces at work have prevailed and continue to do so unabated.

I wish I had a better answer for you. I support your theory but do not think it is practicle given that we are on the brink of social upheaval as never before witnessed in America.

As we rush headlong into world government, individuals will be crushed who oppose the new order and stand up for the ideals this nation was founded on. A government based on representing it's citizen's has become but a memory the way it appears today.

I'd love to be proven wrong, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I wholeheartedly agree here, Copperflower, there are a lot of intelligent, well read people in this board who do not get angry easily, and are really good at alternate means and ways to get things down. I will not name any names, people, you know who you are. I would voter for anyone who appeared on camera with an ATS tee shirt on instead of the standard business suit they all wear, just like the Bankers who are our enemy wears. It is time for some real people to be in office, instead of the professional politicians we have in there now.

Bravo, BlancaRose. I have noticed and respected quite a few of your posts, as well.

Networking with other members, perhaps by posting State threads, with suggestions or information about candidates running or possible candidates who ought to run, and the support thereof would allow us to organize and communicate easily.

If you know anyone in your state or district, by all means, post along with your reasons for support or candidacy?

Suggestions, not campaigns, are what we are looking for, unknowns like Alvin Greene who deserve a chance now.

TPTB have had their chances for long enough. Give the talented, intelligent, experienced Americans a chance to run their own schools, neighborhoods, cities, districts, states, and federal government.

Any number of us is better than none.

StillAlive, I'll bite!

What can you do? Where are you located? And tell us what is available in your area? Any way in is better than nothing, so consider entry-level positions.

Did you know that Obama started out in the Senate not as an elected official, but as some type of organizer or something similar? He was in touch with power and learned to assume the authority of true power.

We must do the same, but not their methods. A constant influx of concerned and capable citizens is what is needed, one that cannot be choked off, but must grow and be dealt with in the equations of our national and local policies and procedures.

I encourage you, ATS, become a part of it, however small. Relationships are incredibly important.

Power corrupts.

I want to see power dissolved, not power in the hands of the "right" people.

No offense to anyone here who thinks they'd make a great world leader, but if your approach is anything other than hands-off, allowing communities to voluntarily solve their own problems, allowing communities to peacefully secede and self-govern, relinquishing the state monopoly on money and banking, etc... then I like you right where you are: posting, not dictating.
