"Tell-a-Vision": 'V' Peace Ambassador Program

I just had to share this with you all, because it struck me so hard when I saw this. I liked the first episodes of 'V' and I was wondering when it would continue. In my search, I stumbled on this video on the following page:

It's such a striking example of "Tell-a-Vision" that it actually disgusts me...
What opinions do you have on this?

We haven't got the TV show here in OZ yet, but many are looking forward to it, some so we can compare it to the original.

The linked to ABC page is a bit weird. I don't understand the purpose of it at all, and there is nothing to explain the motivations behind having it in the first place.

If it were simply a trivial blog type thing you join as either friend or foe, I could at least understand that. But all you get is an attractive women (actress) speaking softly and clearly to you about nothing in particular. The you choose Peace Ambassador or Resistance.. that's all.

I have even more questions about it now
