Kanye West Blasts back at PETA: "those people are scared, incapable or just plain idiots."

With an incredible penchant for ramming his foot in his mouth, and definitely engaging his mouth well in advance of his brain, Kanye West, the man who ruined Taylor Swift's big moment at the VMA's last year, has done it again...

After being criticized by PETA for wearing fur during Men's Fashion Week in Paris last week, West 'defended' himself in his blog:

"When it's all said and done, remember the fearless, remember the dreamers, remember those who represent the ghetto ... The fairy tale of nothing to
something," West wrote late Friday.

He continued: "I'm briefly saddened by negative comments, but I have to remember those people are scared, incapable or just plain idiots. We are the f---ing rock stars baby. No coc aine, just life my n---as!! No coc aine, just life! It's funny to me when fashion bloggers down our outfits and then super jock outlandish sh-- on the runway but they dress mad prude and don't live fashion."

Of course, PETA didn't take this lying down. Their response was:

"Kanye can't help making himself look like an idiot, whether at an awards show or a fashion show," PETA Vice President Dan Matthews said in a statement. "He and his girlfriend look like pathetic creatures from a shabby roadside zoo."

So yet again Kanye looks and sounds like the idiot of the new millenium... Worse than that is that this Jack-hole just doesn't get why the wearing of fur is such a sad and pathetic statement... I guess you can take the man out of the Ghetto, but you just can't take the Ghetto out of the man (and I use the term 'man' very loosely!!!)

So how many poor animals are now going to die just so other 'ganstas' can look 'Ghettofabulous' too???

Just because you are a celebrity doesn't make you intelligent or worth paying attention too...

There must be a stupidity magnet that I am unaware of but Kanye clearly possesses. One should print this on a T-shirt and give it to Kanye: "Only speak your mind, if your mind worth speaking for. Otherwise just STFU."

I have to admit Kanye really doesn't get it. We're not hunter and gatherers, we're not cave men anymore. Our species has progressed to a point where killing animals for clothing is no longer necessary and it certainly shouldn't be done just to be "trendy" (really NOTHING should be done just for being trendy IMO).

Kanye West really manages to come off like an ego driven idiot almost every time he opens his mouth. It wouldn't surprise me if he stopped calling himself a rock star or super star and started calling himself a god.

So the point (in case i'm wrong ? ) is that because you went from the ghetto to a rich person....... it's ok to wear fur.

I personally don't have a big problem with wearing fur...... but I can't really see how from rags to riches allows you to get away with stuff that others are held accountable too.

Everyone is against the rich people until they are one, then they get upset when their treated like the rich people......

You make some interesting and catchy songs, You have achieved some good success in your life, congratulations.
Now...a bit of friendly advice...if you dont hear music going, and you do not have carefully scripted lyrics to say, then its best to keep your mouth shut...

Some people like to eat fish, some people survive off fish. I dont agree with someone catching a fish and then stomping it or beating it with a bat or something, but people need to eat. And I dont care what some Vegan says, only eating vegetables is not that healthy.

Don't get me wrong, I got nothing against eating the meat! I am a staunch omnivore, and have no intention of going vegan in this lifetime!

That said, I know of no recipes for Mink, Fox or Chinchilla.

Anything that looks good, looks good for a reason. someones perspective tells them its good.

So to judge how someone looks depending on what they wear, is like to judge weather someone should wear red or blue. completely personal opinion based.

It's only nesessary to wear fur if you are going to use it for food and other important reasons! That is my opinion. And not to be rude, but I think PETA is, well, halirious!

Maybe his "Jesus walks" song inspired him to be an a$$ with animal furs. Real rappers from the old school wouldn't sing for riches but to tell a story about the ghetto and the struggles of life.

I look forward to the day when we have created synthetic meat that tastes exactly like what you want it to taste (chicken, cow, pig, fish, etc)..but until that day, we are still part of the food chain (the top part)..so, simply dont waste any part if possible and try to eat more greens overall to balance things out.

This is a tough one. I hate both Kanye and PETA so much. Everyone accepts Kanye as an idiot so I will have to support him on this one. PETA are generally well regarded as idiots but I just can't give nothin to em. If they would just stick to wars like this one I could pull for em but they will be slamming meat eaters in another week.
