Crazy. When I go to twitter I only get a solid white page... Nothing shows up. Perhaps they are in the process of getting the site back on line as I type this...

Anyway, twitter was and still is being used by citizens of Iran as a way to organize protests and what not so I am not surprised that twitter was hacked...

What effect will this have None. Twitter will be back online and operating as usual soon, and it will perhaps get a mention on the news... But that is about it....

If they think they can stop people from getting on the internet, and organizing/spreading info to the rest of the world, they are mistaken.... As long as their is internet in some part of the world, people will be able to get on it, somehow or another...

That said, Iran is going to have a long struggle ahead of it. What we are witnessing with all of these protests, is the very beginning of a revolution in Iran. The people are fed up and they want a different government.

When the people are fed up, no amount of weapons, torture and prison can stop it.... In the long run that is...

They can only delay the inevitable... In my opinion revolution is coming. It will most likely take years and years, but you just watch... Revolution is coming to Iran.

Seems to be working from my end, not much downtime created by the ICA

I am hoping that the nerds at the NSA come up with some elaborate plan to make the ICA and Al-Qaeda in the Internet (Much like Al-Qaeda in the Maghreb organization but on the intranets) declare a Jihad against 4chan. That way neither side can win.

I've never used sites like this, and the hacking and accounts being taken over is getting frequent these days.
