It had to be going pretty dang fast what ever it was.

So, was this a comet/ huge asteroid, or a huge spaceship, recharging it's solar cell?

Thanks!

I thought it was pretty crazy as well.

Odd.
You would think a natural object would have been captured by the extreme gravitational pull of an object like our sun, or would have been consumed by the great heat.

This "object" even appears to disrupt the solar surface, like it created a wave as it passed over.

I have no idea what that could have been.

I personally think this looks like something in front of the sun and possibly a bug or something near to the camera but catching light from the sun. That or an earth size asteroid that travels at the speed of light, skims off the top of the sun and causes no effect to itself or the sun????? Interesting vid and the more i watch it the more i dont know!!!!!!

I'm no video expert, but there are some that lurk around here. I'm hoping that one of them will get on this thread at lay it out there for us.

Hopefully it is something awesome, and not a gnat flying across in front of the camera.

That is crazy
Do you have any idea when this happened?

I'm no expert, but could it possible have been something to do with the camera lens? If not it's quite impressive. I've never seen anything like it.

If it was a meteorite wouldn't it have been burned up? It had to be something with protection against the heat of the sun and resistance to the gravitational pull.

It was probably the Enterprise slingshoting around the sun in order to use the light speed breakaway factor to time travel.

I'm inclined to think it's an optical effect. Either atmospheric (mirage) or perhaps a reflection on the glass of the helicopter window. It seems to be somewhat in sync with the vertical movement of the camera.

Optimistic me: It's an alien spaceship.
Pessimistic me: It's a natural occurrence that's not explained.
