"I can channel extraterrestrials" - Reta Barnes-Mellberg

Our next video from the Bay Area UFO Expo features Reta Barnes-Mellberg as she relates her personal experiences as an extraterrestrial contactee. Over the course of several years, Reta says she has experienced several forms of contact, from physical experiences that have left marks on her body, to actual communication with extraterrestrial beings. Her experiences have crossed into the paranormal as she relates her ability to channel these beings in the form drawings and writing.






This is a personal story provided to us by a visitor to the AboveTopSecret.com booth at the Bay Area UFO Expo. Attendees who had personal experiences related to UFOs and extraterrestrials were encouraged to stop by their booth and "tell their story to the world," with the promise that we'd post every video, in its entirety, here on ATS. We (ATS) take no position as to the authenticity of these personal accounts, and provide them to you, the world, for review, examination, and consideration.

Yeah ya just can't take this stuff seriously. They are all charlatans.

But unfortunately we're gonna be seeing a huge rise in outstanding claims such as this in the very near future.

I give thanks to all those involved taking the time to interview these people.

I must say though, the two videos I have seen from this fair are no more credible than the bunk that we all see daily here. Are you people at ATS actually serious about presenting this community with this gunk?

Whatever happened to going out in the field and actually investigating some of the more credible stories that are out there?

Taking a camera out to Area 51 would be more entertainment and educational than this.

If I had a budget to do so. I would be begging to get out there and find the truth.

I think there are a few different types of UFOlogists

One type is wanting to find smoking gun proof..they wont listen to the different alien types, where they come from, etc etc...they simply want to establish the base

the next type are people interested in a bit of both...they want to find the proof and want it established, but they are already believers and so investigate almost equally in the philosophy of them, listen to the storys, read the books, etc (this is perhaps the majority of ATSers)...they reserve belief fully, but they secretly do kinda believe..they just want the proof to match what they already believe.

The final type are the true believers...they dont care about truth, they dont even look at reports or listen to people offering reasonable explanations...they focus on the stories and light candles trying to call down ET, calling every satellite in the sky a starship, etc. For them, this is a religion.

This is also equal to religions...
one group cares not for stories and simply want proof first off of paranormal
one group will sort of believe, and reads stories and such, but will also call a oddly burned piece of toast just toast verses a sign
and one group that...well, you know. religonuts

I think both the proof and stories are important overall, proof moreso for now until it is solified as fact...but the stories certainly do attempt to put context on a field that is simply unknown for now.

For which part? the claiming of channeling or the claiming of aliens?

Channeling is just using a atrophied sense we all have, granted most have issues determining which is coming outside, which is coming from the subconscious, and which is a mix.

Aliens...well, that is a more cloudy area...since we have no absolute proof then that could be a bit crazy talk, however, that also includes people saying they get messages from God, Angels, Demons, Interdemensional beings, etc etc etc...just a label on things yet to be documented, or a label on the grown up version of a invislble friend.
My open mind allows me to take their word as fact (but also with a grain of salt)...Mostly because I have had some seriously wild paranormal experiences. I therefore believe in Ghosts (but I do not define what a ghost is beyond some sort of conscious energy...hell, could be from myself in a telekenetic field I subconsciously project)...and if, to me, a ghost can exist, then why not anything else.

Remember finally, calling someone crazy because they say something not mainstream is more important to the progression of our society and civilization than people whom simply say the popular thing and call anyone different crazy.

Why would foreign beings who are most likely to be superior than humans especially if they have a great amount psychic abilities

(apparently) contact this one person? To me this make no sense, personally i believe they would do something more, than just

contacting a single person.

Great! More disinformation! She just happens to be an artist that made drawings of ET's that she's seen through channeling.

And also borrowing the Good ET vs Bad ET information that has already been talked about for at least 10 years.


I guess until I see an ET standing in front of me, I'll remain skeptical about her story.

As far as UFO's goes, I have to side with Dr.Greer and think most of the Physical UFO's people see is from the Military Industrial Complex. Financed by bankers and the elite few who get to print money, keep society in debt for control for the establishment that's in place.

Hey, the military industrial complex needs a new enemy, why not make them space aliens. Just another false enemy to keep the military humming, I guess that's called Job Security.

I lost all hope for humans most days.

Her body language tells me that she is lying. Out of all the videos that I've seen, this one screams out "I am lying."

I can't take her seriously; not because of what she is talking about, but the way she is talking about it. I am a pretty open minded person, if you tell me that the earth is flat or hollow, or that you were born in Mars, I would not reject the idea immediately like some folks would. The way she is talking about this topic, specially her eyes, it just doesn't seem right to me. It's like she knows she's lying, or perhaps I am thinking too much.

I simply cannot take her seriously.Too many washed-over cliches, "The dark one", "one of love", "light" or whatever The entire things runs like an ad for her one-on-one sessions where she claims to perform the following services:

• Some People's Soul Lights

• Deceased Loved Ones

I would require some form of proof of her claims. I believe we all have a certain ability to preform ESP to a degree,and intelligent beings could pick up on thought patterns,but you have to prove this by some form of scientific experiment,documentation etc. Anyone can make claims like this for publicity,but in her case,i would recommend a psychiatric evaluation.

I think they are indeed crazy, how on earth could anybody with such a gift not ask to 'channel' some irrefutable proof? Surely, having found such an amazing gift you would do some extreme soul searching in the hope of finding that irrefutable piece of information that'll draw attention the world over.

I'm sure, visitors could have easily left a sign somewhere or direct these people towards sites of interest. IF they where telling the truth.

This may be excused by a belief that, they (the contacted) cannot request information. Yet for me this still begs the question, why would E.T's be holding contact at all and these people speaking as if to suggest the E.T's want knowledge of them to be spread? ("They told me to come")

In any event, I smell a rather big stinking rat. And that's coming from someone (myself) who has witnessed an Unidentified Object and thus should be more prone to acceptance.

I remember this certain woman who also claimed to channel aliens and ended up being a hoax... A certain british woman who's had her share of threads on here.

She was austrailian.. but yes unless you can prove it.. anyone can just say "hey yea I channel ET's!"

It's easy to ridicule and dismiss this woman this woman, but first ask yourself "do you believe that she believes her own story"? You may write her off as some crazy, delusional soul, but it is reality from her perspective.

My reality reflects my past experiences computed over time with in my brain. A brain with seemingly limitless amounts storage and computing abilities, governed only by it's own output and that output is my conceived reality. So mine and your reality are not the same, yet we both exist.

There must then be limitless realities, realities produced by our brains, only to limit the potentials.

We hear all of these discussions about UFO's and aliens, but yet there has not been an official disclosure. When the time comes for its exposure (which will be when the house of cards falls down) then humans can grow as one in the infinite.

Channelling aliens.......or simply hearing voices in your head?

The subject of UFO's and aliens is mainstream popular culture these days making it easy for some people to make a quick buck writing books, appearing at conventions etc if they are bold enough.

Personally, I take things like this with a huge pinch of salt.
