I got most of them. (Nice on Denise by the way. . . )But then again, I'm a bit of a wonk when it comes to political issues.

I believe we should know the world leaders, more so, then we do the people the media wants us to believe.

Why I added a few additions, for contrast.

I could pick out wayne, sheen, or depp, before I could Bernanke or Geithner, in the general public!

But I wish to know my enemy more then I know my friends.

We need to know these villians, more then the man on the tv.

Yet we know very little of China's leaders, or the Tax Cheater that is Timmy!

I don't believe that any of those people have any true impact directly on my life or well being. I can recognize the jobs that each them do and respect or criticize any of them, but over all they would have no real effect over me personally if they remained alive or were dead.

Those that wish to exert some sort of pretend power over me directly will find that I do not recognize their ability to do so. Repeated attempts to so would more than likely result in me staring them directly in the eyes to sum up my exact opinion of them, their strengths, weaknesses and merit of their point...the result would be a *humph* at best as I turned my back and walked away.

You see, I find it hard for anyone to exert their idea of power and authority when I know that if it came right down to it, I could drop them in a heartbeat in a fight. And no, I do not fight fair. Anyone that has pushed me to that point has already proven that they had no intention having my respect to actually fight fair.

I think each have a impact on your life, via butterfly effect.

If these people have no affect on your life, I may quite nicely put, why are you here?

There pretend power, is a real power, and isn't finite, as we had hoped, they are real, and they are controlling, the most of what's around us, good or bad.

Control is there, whether you admit it or not.

Someone can say Communism, is okay as long as it fits what they want.

But if they wanted something else, then it'd be something else!

If we all wanted, to pretend our controllers weren't in control, then the world would be.... well the way it is today!

Depp would have been the only celebrity, Clarkson...maybe, if I were expecting her. W, of course (I met his father once so I would be able to spot W anywhere), Obama might catch me off guard (unless he spoke, as he has a very distinct voice) as well Bernake (as he looks very common), Geithner, yes (unless out of a suit), I do recognize Mr. Wu, however out of context, maybe not, and for some reason I often forget his name. As for the rest of the political leaders, more than likely not.

And therein is the difference between person and persona. Fame and commonality. A person is only perceived when in their context unless the person has a personal connection.

These people mean little to me personally, the remotest connections being W and Depp. For having met the father and an acting style very similar to my own in doing character roles, respectively.

I like watching "I Spy" on the oldies channel. The young, suave, action hero, Bill Cosby looks and talks nothing like the comic actor he later became.

Meanwhile back at the thread topic. Nobody will ever meet these celebrities or politicos in person. What they look like is immaterial to their impact on mankind.
