The Kuwaiti daily Al-Siyassa reported Thursday, Sept. 3, that chemical weapons were stored in the hidden Hizballah arms warehouse which blew up at Hirbet Salim near the Israeli border in mid-July. Of the 11 Hizballah operatives killed in the blast, 3 died of chemical poisoning. Hizballah denied any members had been killed or even that it maintains a weapons store in breach of UN resolutions.

DEBKAfile disclosed at the time that the Lebanese terrorists had lost five men and more were missing.

So terrorist have finally gotten into the chemical and biological business have they? The Western media is going to have an embolism with these stories once they start paying attention.

What I want to know is who is supplying them with these agents? Gotta have scientists and laboratories for most of this stuff.

Anyone else going to sit back and watch the Television waiting for the MSM headlines of mass panic and fear?

DEBKA is a propaganda outlet founded by far-right Israeli ex-intel people.
It's about as unreliable source as one can find, maybe just short of Sorcha Faal.

Treat anything you read there with extreme skepticism, they have a long track record of exaggerating and even simply making stuff up.

I'm not sure I buy this. Hezbollah has nothing to gain from this at all. Their goal is to hang on to political power in Lebanon, why they would risk that, even to fight Israel, is beyond me.

Source is Debka... Enough said! They are the propaganda arm of the Mossad. They may have well just stated that Hezbollah detonated a nuclear warhead in Tel Aviv - it would be just about as believable.

I never trust a news source, just wondering if the story has any merit.

Seems like we could fill pages with such claims (from either side really).

Too bad we don't have any real journalists anymore in our main stream media. All they would have to do is collect some of this tripe, Faal as well, and create a real glossy picture of how the people are fed such stories. It would become evident why.

This sounds like the same thing they did to Syria when DU was shot into a Syrian bunker, and then the news media turned around and said traces of radiation lead to a conclusion that the bunker stored nukes. The investigation was done after DU was used to shoot the bunker.

In the end, Syria didn't turn out to be a threat as much as the news media wanted.

A Kuwaiti report Thursday said that a mysterious explosion in a Hizbullah weapons warehouse six weeks ago involved chemical weapons, adding to the mounting evidence that the terrorist organization is preparing for chemical warfare against Israel.

Eight Hizbullah terrorists were killed in the blast, and the Kuwaiti al-Siyasa newspaper now reports that three others inside the warehouse died from the chemicals that were stored there. The report was based on information from European security sources.

Al-Siyasi previously reported that Hizbullah has been smuggling chemical weapons into southern Lebanon, along with thousands of gas masks. The weapons and equipment reportedly were provided from Iran and smuggled via Syria.

both of your links are reporting the same source - the kuwati newspaper , so in effect there is only 1 source;


and that source must be questioned simply because:

known for opposing Hezbollah - so i simply ask - quite maybe they made it all up as they are following a suuni adgenda.

Hezbollah do not operate outside of lebanon/israel - thats not there mandate , and after pushing the IDF out 3 years ago they have been very quiet - simply because , thats the way they work .

they provide health care , schools and services in the area , and whilst the western press slams them , many many countries actiuvely support them - more countries say israel is a terrorist nation than say hezbollah are terrorists.

Debak is as bad (almost) as PRESSTV. I wouldnt trust much coming from that site. That being said, i certainly wouldnt be surpised if Hezbo had chemical weapons...not in the least.

With all the chemical weapons has been used by Israel, how much has flown off in the gusts of winds toward borders. Some IDF unit then goes across the border and says they detected chemicals.

Well, look at the link above, you surely see chemicals going across the border. Common sense...

Yet the propaganda machine rolls on full steam! All we hear about in the MSM is terrorrists this terrorists that, it seems as if any country who isn't a friend of the West & Israel are being labelled terrorists. It's getting old

Finally? U.S. military personnel conducting route reconnaisance prior to escorting a KBR convoy outside of Al Taqaddum Air Base in Iraq encountered mustard gas in late 2007. We were being hit with chlorine compounds in Karmah in '05. There was another compound some guys got hit with, but I don't remember what it was, it didn't kill, but it displaced all the oxygen in the building the Marines were in, and just about suffocated everyone once they had their masks on. One of the guys in my platoon destroyed a nerve gas cache during OIF1 when he was still in the Army. Hell, we've even found GALLONS of full-strength SULFURIC ACID in IEDs. This is NOT a new phenomenon. Terrorists have had this stuff for years.

It's just that it's easy for the military to discredit or nutjob-ify anyone that speaks out because there's never any evidence. Anytime anything's found EOD rolls in with disruption charges and blows everything all to hell.

Hesbola operates in the U.S. as well. Hammas got busted in Texas the day before the 9/11 attacks.

As for the "who is supplying the stuff?" question, you can blame the US, Russia, China, etc etc. The major players have been supplying smaller nations with all kinds of weaponry and equipment for decades.

Israels use of Chemicals this year is yet to be censured for war crimes by the international community. Niether side will be prosecuted for war crimes, though proof has been presented for both sides carrying them out.
