I was just going back to the WingMakers site which I use to frequent alot and I found a download of a PDF that struck me as quite profound and reveling in that it talked a lot about the issues that I have been having with in Life of late and the need to have a Spiritually fulfiling life but still maintaining calm in the light of paying bills and just plain old living in the day to day physical world of never ending issues it seems, That we all seem to go through
Anyway have a read it is a bit of a long read though 31 pages etc but very uplifting and not dogmatic on this or that way but just giving some advice etc
enjoy; Click on link then Click on the EVT3 PDF

Watch out, some (although not all) of Wingmakers' statements are dangerously close to the damn truth.

Not for the ones who like dwelling in in safe Illusions: NEW PROJECT CAMELOT INTERVIEW WITH JAMES (Nov 2008).

I went into reading that with an open and objective mind, and I have to say that by the time I was done reading I had to stand back in awe of what was said.

People really believe this stuff?

I found more truth in Deism, and the works of Thomas Paine, than I have in any religion.

"There is a happiness in Deism, when rightly understood, that is not to be found inany other system of religion. All other systems have something in them that either shock our reason, or are repugnant to it, and man, if he thinks at all, must stifle his reason in order to force himself to believe them."

That includes the above article you listed.

Hi, welcome to the world.

The world is tough and quite impossible.

We all have to try.

Good luck!

I dont know about the validity/credibility of Wingmakers but I do know that they produce beautiful art, which makes a visit there somewhat worthwhile.

Firstly, thanks for providing so much evidence. I at least gave a source of information. You nothing, but an unsubstantiated assertion. Exciting.

I'm "aware" of exactly what I wrote: "Some" of his statements are dangerously close to the truth, especially the "prison" subject ones in the PDF I(!) linked. And here's the real meat. I'm less interested in the meditation/spirituality issues, I don't know, those might be hoaxish, but NOT his mentionings of the "prison".

I doubt that.

Why shouldn't they, because you try to ridicule it?

Btw again, I'm talking about the PDF interview I linked, not the OP's which I don't judge.

There's been plenty of evidence floating around the web concerning the Wingmakers hoax. However, I don't feel I should waste my time providing it to you when you've clearly shown no intention of seeking it yourself. You'd prefer to take the route of "Magical Thinking".

Good luck!

Sure, so plenty that you can't find any.

Lame pretext. Actually you don't "feel" like it because there is none.

No, it's you who prefers to take the route of "Magical Denying". I at least provided a link with information and explained what I meant, you provided nothing, didn't even specifiy what you're talking about.

I found the artwork very beautiful as well. Since we're on the subject
of spirituality I'll throw in my two cents worth.

The difficulty with spirtuality is it's sheer simplicity. We humans love
to complicate things, turning everything around us into puzzles that
we feel a need to figure out. Such is the way of logic.

Our jouney begins with self-awareness, that we are a separate
biological entity on this earth. We then proceed to spend much of
our lives trying to find our way back to that original state of bliss,
that place where there was no separation.

Intuitively we know that we are part of a something greater than
ourselves but the western ways of science and reason induce our
thought processes to continue a methodology of division and
linear thought. Once we become fed up with the logical routines
we begin to seek other avenues of being. Some will turn to drugs
or alcohol, others to religion or meditation attempting to break the
mental bonds that society and ourselves have placed upon us.

Others can ignore it altogether and live lives of action without
thought. All of these will bring us no closer to the truth we seek
than the day we realized our separation. What is the truth? What
or who is God? Our senses have decieved us, our thoughts have
bound us. Like a plant that has grown we have become taller,
sent out roots in the soil but we have yet to flower. When it is
our time we will blossom.

The tree doesn't worry about how tall it is, whether it has leaves
or none. whether it's roots have dug deeper. It does not care if it
has fruit on it's branches. This is how we should become, not
worrying about these things but to BE, to recieve the sun and
rain. To live. This is to be without time or space, becoming eternal
in the moment. Here you can find all things, the connection of all
life. It is a blessing. Acknowledge it. Feel it. Become it and you will
be joined with, and become a part of the infinite circle of being.
No beginning, no end. Just being. This is to be alive.

Sorry if I got off topic, I just started writing and that came out

I remember I first came across the the wingmakers site and was quite impressed with the paintings. They are in my view very hypnotic, or thier poetry which are all very emotional poetry and not subtle in thier deliveries. It was all quite facinating in its pretext.

Off topic? I think you hit the nail on spirituality.

EDIT: As for Wingmakers being a hoax, lol i would venture to say some of it is, i have years of time i spent with that group. which was ages ago, but nonetheless it opened my mind at a young age and led me to metaphysics as it was the stepping stone i needed, i learned to do telekinesis there with a friend of mine among other things.

Well like I said I was heavily involved in Wingmakers material when I first saw their material back in 1999. I was impressed then and so I got back in to their material a few years back in 06. But soon got disillusioned as it started to become a bit of a "personality cult" with
James being the Guru channel and the religious undertones you feel with themetc.
So I see them as just a stepping stone and simply just an Info resource some of there material I agree with and some of it I dont.
Pure and simple and like myself you all will find the same thing goes for yourselfs, yeah

Where are the sources that show that the Wingmakers is a hoax? I've heard several people say and have yet to disprove it. James on the Wingmakers site does say that the Wingmakers and the Ancient Arrow book is mythological. But that doesn't mean the whole site is false or a hoax. How can something so close to spiritual reality be a hoax?

Yeah, 'hoax' seems to me to be a bit of a misnomer; as you say it is spirituality/metaphysical basis, if it jives with you, then hey, go for it... But, along with a 'belief' system there will always be the (grumpy gus) naysayers who have no imagination.

I too heard rumors a couple years after they sprang themselves onto the net, some sort of psych-analysis test or some such,, but no evidence just a cobwebby memory...

I was always weirded out about the DNA changing pictures, lots of subliminal embedded stuff in there probably; got a weird vibe looking at them, so didn't much, but I remember it was all strangely enthralling...

enjoy!

There is no hoax, and there never was. I remember visiting that site 10 years ago when it was new. At that time, they had disclaimers saying that these stories are works of fiction, and were intended to be seen as a a fictional backdrop to the more important philosophical, spiritual, and artistic works that their website contains.

Unless you're arguing that they are promoting incorrect spirituality, philosophy, or art? I'm just going to assume you weren't, because that would be silly. They either vibe with you, or they don't.
