The Cuban toilet paper shortage

Here ya go, for people who advocate communism and socialism:

Cuba is about to run out of toilet paper: that's the news from the island. As one hapless bureaucrat was heard to announce on a local radio station:

The corporation has taken all the steps so that at the end of the year there will be an important importation of toilet paper

No doubt there will be celebration on the streets of Havana as a result of the populace now knowing that they can visit the bathroom sometime in December.

So they are out of toilet paper, and can look for relief at the end of the year. What are they supposed to do till then?

When the government thinks it knows what is best, watch out, stock up and prepare for the worst.

I don't know how people ever got along without toilet paper. What did humans do before Cottonelle and Charmin??? Now I'm curious. My home's 64 pack is running low.

This kind of stuff happened in the 80's in the Soviet Union...socialism at it's finest....guess that is what my Granddad meant when he used to say socialism stinks.

I don't know for a fact...................

I though Obama eased the sanctions on Cuba to allow in food/meds and clearly non-military stuff.

Even if US companies are not doing it, i thought it allowed other countries to trade/sell these items to them.

Ah, just another example of why Communism fails.

I am sure the Castro regime has closets full of toilet paper. What happened to the timeless policy of share the wealth in Communism? TP might not be gold, but when you are stuck on the throne and are in need of relief, you don't care much for gold, you just want paper!

Maybe they could use their cigar wrapping paper as TP...oh wait, they already do. Gives it a pungent aftertaste.

Well, i can give you a first hand account my grandma used to tell me...

They use corn husks. Provided they have corn.

1. Eat a corn
2. let it dry
3. run it up and down your butt.

Voila! We are clean!
