The Securities and Exchange Commission has accused three former executives of Janus Capital Management of improperly allowing market-timing trades in the company's mutual funds. SEC documents released Monday said the agency is seeking unspecified fines and sanctions against Warren Lammert, Lars Soderberg and Lance Newcomb for allegedly allowing rapid trading in Janus funds despite company rules that discouraged it. All three have left the company.
In July 2009, Rolling Stone contributer Matt Taibbi published an article on Goldman Sachs titled, 'The Great American Bubble Machine', where he condemns the company as "a great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity, relentlessly jamming its blood funnel into anything that smells like money," and going on to assert that Goldman Sachs and similar companies have come out ahead in every economic recession and bubble since The Great Depression. The piece generated much media attention and controversy, evoking a response by a Goldman Sachs spokesman describing it as "an hysterical compilation of conspiracy theories". He added, "we reject the assertion that we are inflators of bubbles and profiteers in busts, and we are painfully conscious of the importance in being a force for good." Taibbi rebutted, "Goldman has its alumni pushing its views from the pulpit of the U.S. Treasury, the NYSE, the World Bank, and numerous other important posts; it also has former players fronting major TV shows. They have the ear of the president if they want it."

Two more lawsuits have been filed against State Street Corp. over its now controversial stewardship of fixed income funds marketed as following conservative trading strategies, but which faced substantial losses from subprime mortgage-related holdings.
Jennison Associates and Baillie Gifford both serve as advisors to other Vanguard equity funds. Jennison joined the advisory team of the $6.0 billion Vanguard Morgan™ Growth Fund in 2007 and manages approximately 15% of the fund. Baillie Gifford began serving in an advisory capacity for the $10.7 billion Vanguard International Growth Fund in 2003, now managing approximately 40% of the fund. The firm also began managing a relatively modest portion of the $3.6 billion Vanguard Global Equity Fund in 2008.
Who needs Mother Nature to cause a catastrophe? Florida's politicians are busy creating an unnatural disaster in their state insurance market that will blow away taxpayers when the next big hurricane hits. And we mean taxpayers across America. Last month State Farm pulled the plug on its 1.2 million homeowner policies in Florida, citing the state's punishing price controls.
In the so-called "slab cases" - where homeowners were left with only a slab - State Farm was required to offer the owners at least 50 percent of their policy limits, Hood said. The company previously had denied those claims, maintaining the destruction came from water and that it was unable to find any separate wind damage, which was covered under its policies, the Biloxi Sun-Herald has reported.
A federal judge in Mississippi Friday rejected a $50M settlement between State Farm Mutual Fire and Casualty Company and policyholders whose claims the insurer had denied after Hurricane Katrina, CNN has learned. The deal would have impacted nearly 35,000 homeowners whose property was damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
n 2008, T. Rowe Price "Retirement Plan Services" alerted and informed 35,000 Clients that their names and Social Security numbers were compromised in files on computers that were stolen from one of their service providers. However, to deal with the crisis the company offered those affected a free one-year subscription to an online credit monitoring service and up to $25,000 of identity theft insurance, as well as tips on protection from identity theft.
Thanks to Bogle's promotional tactics, Vanguard's image is firmly set. Says James S. Riepe, managing director at rival T. Rowe Price Associates Inc. and a onetime Bogle aide: ''Vanguard is more than any one person now.''
What has Baxter done? During Feburary 2009, it was discovered that a Baxter sub-sub-contractor in the Czech Republic called 'Biotest' had experienced a contamination of the bird flu (H5N1). It was subsequently discovered that this contamination included co-contamination with human flu (H3N2). The infected material was provided by Baxter. THIS SHOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE if Baxter is following BSL3 (Biosafety Level 3) procedures. This mere fact alone is grounds for immediate criminal charges and indictments against Baxter executives for criminal negligence. Furthermore Baxter claimed 'trade secrets' and refused to comment! Now: a 'coinfection' of H5N1 ('bird flu') and H3N2 ('human flu') in animals or people is extremely dangerous. It is dangerous because the viruses recombine (not reassort!) and can produce millions and billions of mutants, one of which will emerge as the dominant strain. This is precisely what happened at the Baxter sub-sub-contractor in 95 the Czech Republic. They only discovered the contamination of what Baxter called “experimental vaccine material” when they injected their ferrets and found them rapidly dying. Why did the ferrets die? Well what happens is the viruses , or this “experimental vaccine material” as Baxter likes to call it... when these two strains of influenza both infect the same cell, they swap genetic material. This is known as RNA recombination. It happens all the time and is a dirty little secret of virology.
Can Baxter please disclose all financial and social connections it has with the incoming Obama administration (as Baxter and its executives are based near Chicago) and whether Baxter stood to benefit financially from the outbreak of a pandemic through a contaminated season influenza vaccine in late 2009? Does Treasury Sec Geithner hold shares in Baxter? If so, how many shares?
Baxter Director Gail Fosler has profoundly disturbing connections to powerful organizations including the Council on Foreign Relations, high-level Chinese CCP leadership, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. The question is simple: Is Baxter involved in biological weapons programs? Are any of these programs 'international' in scope? If so , who is providing the funding? What is the nature and intent of these programs? Are any of these programs part of the so-called 'black budget'? That is , is Baxter involved in any "Special Access Programs" , as defined by Congress? Are any of these 'waived' "Special Access Programs"? Are any of these 'unacknowledged' 'waived' Special Access Programs (also known as 'black programs')?
Can Baxter explain exactly how a Level 3 biological warfare pathogen found its way into H3N2 material, regardless whether or not this experimental vaccine material was 'intended' for eventual use in humans or not. Is the contaminated H5N1 strain genetically engineered? If so, by whom? Does the NS protein in Baxter's H5N1 material contain polymorphisms which suppress human interferon production? Was Baxter's H5N1a full set of influenza genes? Or was it just the hemaglutanin and neuraminidase? Did Baxter's H5N1 contain a poly-basic cleavage site on the Hemaglutanin surface protein? Why were the samples of experimental vaccine material not irradiated?

Jane Burgermeister has rapidly become a flag bearer in the anti-biomedical megacorporation conspiracy, she appears to be either very courageous or very naive. People have had fatal "accidents" for far less infringements of the unspoken, unwritten agreement between the MSM and the Elite.

I find this curious - Baxter filed for a patent on the Swine Flu vaccine a year ago.

Swine flu wasn't even a concern, it was all about Bird Flu. Then magically - Bam! A swine flu pandemic.

Otfried Kistner, the head of virology at Baxter’s Austrian subsidiary in Orth an der Donau, which contaminated 72 kilos of vaccine material with the live bird flu virus and sent it to 16 labs this February, was part of the Austrian-based Baxter team that applied for a provisional patent for the “swine flu” H1N1 vaccine in August 2007, almost two years before the first “swine flu” outbreak in Mexico City in April2009 in a location about 50 kilometers from a Baxter facility.
Baxter’s Vaccine Patent Application US 2009/0060950 A1 gives “Kistner et al” as the applicant for the patent for the H1N1 vaccine that was provisionally filed on August 28, 2007.
