Good point, let us talk about ideology then....
But better yet, let us talk about Obama's ideology, or the democrat ideology.
It seems that with all the bailouts to Wall Street, the climate bills designed to fund Al Gore and the likes, it seems that the Obama and the Democrat
ideology are very much trickle down only they trickle it from places where Pelosi, Reid, Waxman, Gore, Dodd, etc hold massive investments.
SO it seems by your reasoning, Obama and the democrats hold the same values as you accuse conservatives as having.
Maybe liberals should be railing against the government as well in the voice of fairness. Too me it seems like the government is doing things that
liberals claim to be against, such as funneling money to elite friends and creating policies that hurt the poor while enriching their handlers.
In reality, socialist liberals should be fuming pissed about Obama's policies (except the big government takeover part) because of the funneling of
power and riches to a select few. But then again that is how socialism wokrs. In order to regulate the economy and the people, there has to be a
regulator class. That regulator class starts becoming the elite class and starts funneling more power to itself in order to regulate and preserve its
position.
That is the irony of it all, liberalism creates the environment for a system that is so unlike the values that liberalism supposedly holds. It isn't
fair that an elite enforcement class with total power has to exist in order to promote fairness.
