I know this reply will not reach the OP but wanted to leave it here for posterity.

This case received some of the most analysis of any case ever, especially because the close proximity to the DC Flap.

Both being in somewhat proximity to the Roswell incident (How long does it take to mount an interstellar rescue mission?).

No Alien left behind.

After the US capture of the disk at Roswell they came back and not only left tracks but left them over the nations capitol.

The flap got quieted, imo because they got that they were after, the ship remnants and crew bodies. If the government held out any longer the consequences could have become more 'boat rocking' for the earthling power base.

Yes, could be they had a shortage of balsa wood, tinfoil, and scotch tape and neoprene on their home planet, so they needed to travel across the galaxy to Earth to retrieve those items from the Roswell crash site so they could build more space ships.
