ATS friend feed?

I was wondering if there is any way to have a feed of recent comments made by people on my friend list. The reason I friend people is the cool content they bring to the boards and I was wondering if there was an easier way to see what they have posted recently than clicking on each individual name on my list. I think it would be pretty cool to have some type of feed that shows recent posts or threads made by friends. Just an idea, would love to get some feedback.

It would probably be a massive strain on the servers.

Your friends most likely hang out in the same forums you do so their names will pop up in the same threads as yours.
