You've noticed it too. It's like those two movies are just part of regular programming now. I mean they ARE entertaining...but they're not classics,...you know?
So, my hypothesis is...they are programming us to feel that in the event of Contact we need not worry. There are pro's behind the scenes who have everything well in hand. Either we have the fire power to bring down their ships, as in Independence Day, or we have a secret intelligence agency with super cool weaponry quietly keeping things in order as in Men In Black.
Either way, it's covered. So no need to panic when the time comes.
What do you think?

Because they are good films which people enjoy watching.

Pretty straight forward.

I have not seen them on T.V in years man...

I have, however, been seeing "Armageddon" and "Deep Impact" a lot...

Oh come on now...you are on a conspiracy theory forum, after all. And in the Alien Ufo
section, to boot. There's lot's of entertaining movies out there, not just those two.
Just sayin'...everything happens for a reason.

Probably get high ratings, they are decent films.

I know with conditioning and all that, but kids today are being conditioned alot in cartoons etc...

But they are decent films,a nd most channels want things that people will watch.

That's interesting. When it comes down to it, we know what they want us to know. And of course the possibility of an asteroid hitting the earth is something that must be considered...and again the movies you mentioned would have the effect of reassuring us in the event it happens.

Well okay, but my inclination towards a conspiracy theory mindset leads me to feel that this is a part of TPTB's acclimation project...the precursor to disclosure.

Yeah, they could be part of a general disclosure programme, but the primary reason, in my humble opinion, is because they are entertaining films.

Why do we find them so entertaining?

One reason simply because Will Smith is a genuinely funny / happy guy who generates a feel good factor.

Another maybe because ultimately, against all odds, we win.

And maybe, just maybe, because we are all fascinated with the idea of Aliens / UFO's etc and deep down we don't want to be alone in the universe.

Hell, I don't know.

I just know Independance Day is one of favourites and M.I.B. makes me laugh.

Yea I always thought in the back of my mind that those 2 movies were propaganda/conditioning.

But, they are good movies haha, Morgan Freedman is pro.

So is Willis.

And I highly doubt there is a "Men in Black" scenario going on.
Atleast not as far as the movie goes

Networks, movie production companies have researchers that constantly search for market trends so they know what movies to make and where and when to show them.

The only conspiracy is how to match advertising to the product[movie] so it
reaches the widest audience and be an effective vehicle to sell soap, cars, Viagra or prostrate pills.

I think it is more a business decision than manipulation of social attitudes.

I have noticed all four of the movies mentioned so far being played in regular rotation for a long time now.

They were all multi-million dollar blockbuster films that the public certainly enjoyed.

I can see where you are coming from, that they are conditioning the general public to the idea that are covered in the movies. This could be quite possible and may even be probable.

They could just as easily play "Bad Boys", "Die Hard", "Second Hand Lions", "NL's Vacation", and "The Fugitive" as they are all just as entertaining and have the same major actors in each of them.

Is it possible that, in our technological age, people love to see movies that showcase special effects, have a futuristic theme, and appeal to the masses? Aliens do appeal to the masses, since they are somewhat of a question mark. Will Smith also appeals very well to the masses, as do the other actors in each of these films.

We are being conditioned, but is it by these movies? Hard to say with accuracy.

I think children are going through more conditioning than ost of us have done.

Also i do think there is some sort of agency or something that handles the alien issues, like i would suspect some part of nsa, would be handling it.

i agree 100% lol

they are awesome films , classics in my book

ratings is definately a factor here

showing movies with aliens is part of our culture now

large portions of the population are open to the idea of ET finally, movies like this can really generate some cash quick

the only thing more popular than ufos on the internet is porn, this civilization is truly curious about "are they here?"

My hypothesis is that they are cheap. Almost as cheap as the Back to the Future movie series.

Yes, my point exactly. Why not The raiders of the lost ark movies or back to the future? Why these two? I'm in advertising myself but I wouldn't be a member here if I wasn't open to the possibility of some overall scheme of things put in motion by the infamous PTB.

You arent the only one who has noticed this. I have too.

This is my theory. I have also noticed this frequency of UFO It’s not just on TV that these UFO frequencies occur. There are more actual sightings, even by the elite. By 2010 you will see more UFO activity. Someone may even come out to disclose them and will bring proof. We already have rumors of a couple Countries that want to do this.

I also find a connection to Identity theft commercials. Has anyone noticed the huge increase in those? When the Christian Rapture takes place millions of people will vanish from the earth. The government needs a solid explanation for this.

They wont say “God has come to take his people”! Their most rational answer will be that these people were taken by Aliens.

When this happens it will set off panic across the globe and they will insist that everyone get a new Global ID chip implant (RFID). Not just to lock in your GPS coordinates but to prevent identity theft, to upload your digital medical records, banking info, drivers license, social security number, passport, etc. We are going paperless already.

This will be mandatory to receive this mark or ID. When the New global dictator makes himself known he will perform false miracles in the sky, most likely he will have fleets of UFO’s by his side. This man will proclaim to be God and come with a million demons. These demons will appear to be beautiful and glorious angles(aliens) and deceive the most elite.

I don’t mean to preach. I’m simply telling my views from a biblical perspective. God has names for these Aliens.

Zebub "Lord of Those Things that Fly",

Zuzim “the evil ones, roaming things”, Zamzummims – “the evil plotters”,

Baal was "Lord of War" and "Lord of the Sky".

Zophim – “watchers, angels who descended”,

Sepherim “the many”,

Baalbamoth = “Lord of the high places”

It's the only proof I have that they exisit. There is no doubt that they are here. I understand they wont be seen unless they want to be seen. Maybe the time has come.

I think they are trying to put it into our minds that there will be an alien invasion so later when they want to scare the living hell out of us they can create the illusion of one and then have us hand over control of our lives. Unfortunately they picked the Fresh Prince of Belair to save the world so I never enjoy the movies because I keep waiting for DJ Jazzy Jeff to show up. That and I have never been a big Tommy Lee Jones fan or a sci-fi fan in general

So now I am on to there plan because I turn the channel and didnt allow them to brainwash me.........

I don't know the answer but I've always wondered why TBS has a 24 hour marathon of 'A Christmas Story' on Christmas Eve. Do they really think people like that movie so much that they want to see it on repeat for 24 hours? Watching that movie makes me afraid that I may shoot my eye out.

But never forget.. you'll shoot your eye out..you'll shoot your eye out..you'll shoot your eye out..you'll shoot your eye out

Its obviously part of the gun control agenda
