Apparently this is a sign of the apocalypse. I can't image who would want to go see this concert. Sure Hammer has a couple of okay songs, but Ice really only had one and that was only by changing the words to a popular Queen song.

Breaking News! MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice are joining forces for a one-night-only joint show. “Hammer Pants and Ice”

We can’t possibly answer the inevitable “why” question, but here’s how it will all go down: Hammer is bringing 24 dancers and a full choir; Ice is bringing … himself as far as we can tell. It is evidently the pair’s first show together since the early 1990s, when both were whole-scale radio stars.

Friday, February 27, 2009, at 8:00 p.m. at the McKay Events Center in Orem, Utah.

Their "music" is just "dropping" now in Orem, Utah.

Utah county, where Orem is, also happens to be where Footloose was filmed.

Doesn't that explain a lot.

Ice recent stuff is actually pretty good. I heard something a few years ago and thought it was great.

Poor guy is suffering from the star wars effect, you get labeled with one song and no one gives you a chance.

he has changed his look, changed his name, changed his style, but he is still being called ice.

If people listened to it objectively, they just might like it.

Sign me up!

I'd attend this show purely for the hilarity of the whole thing.

So their duet would be..
"You can't touch this ice ice baby"

Sounds like a bad bar joke.
