The photo is a large industrial complex in the desert. At the bottom of the industrial complex is a large square area comprised of five compartments. The compartments look like some sort of holding tanks. They are black with portions of blue, green and white. I have no idea what this might be, my initial idea is perhaps an algae farm of some sort.

Right smack in the middle of Nellis bombing range.

An algae farm in the middle of a bombing range?
Look at this, a bit south east of that.
37°41'31.67 116°27'14.50
It is mapped out in some kind of crop circle like fashion.
Look at the circles?I don't think graders and bulldozers normally grade in perfect circles with lines viewable from the sky like that.
That whole area looks mapped out in a very weird way.
Almost all the little substations are like entrances to underground.
Look at the roads that go to no where then stop next to the side of a mountain.
None of this is viewable by the public as its on the range.
37°15'08.52 115°49'34.03
Similar type tanks at Area51.
Possibly Sewage treatment and water treatment for there little mini cities they have out there.

Yeah buts its there own military custom built ones.
Its going to look different than others.
Most of the stuff there is underground.
But you need to have the tanks above.
Im sure its sewage treatment tanks. What else could it be seriously?
But to have that many, and that big, imagine how many toilets they've got.

They have whole city's out there.

I'm open to the possibility. Do you have any guesses as to what the discolorations and white material is on the top of the Nevada tanks? Doesn't look like water reflections.

Algae, salt, sludge, water, chemicals, all mixed together.
Who knows.
They are either open tanks full of something.
Or they are closed and we are seeing the rooftops, and they have some special paint on them that reflects light in different colors.
Id like to drive into the place and see but I don't much like the Idea of being shot by F-15 mini guns or camo dudes.
The whole place is weird, look at the crop circle like grades in the ground.
You have circles with lines through them then something in the middle its truly weird.
The place with the tanks you showed looks more like a distribution center for cargo than anything else.
If only we could get the blue prints to the place.

Site 4 - Tonopah Test Range

Site-4 is part of the TECR or Tonopah Electronic Combat Range. This Range is used by the USAF for Training pilots against Electronic warfare such as Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) threats, AAA threats and also Electronic Counter Measure and Electronic Support Measure (ECM and ESM) training. Dotted around the base are real threats, including many actual Russian made systems such as SA-6 SAM's, ZSU-23-4 AAA systems and other Russian, Iraqi and Eastern European systems. Site-4 is owned and operated by the 554th Range Squadron, which has its Headquarters located in the center of the site.

Tonopah ECR operates in conjunction with Tolicha Peak ECR (TPECR) located Southwest of TTR. Tonopah ECR as well as Tolicha Peak ECR are also used by Tonopah Test Range, Area 51 and Edwards AFB for testing stealth aircraft against real-time threats such as the foreign systems mentioned above. The Stealth capabilities of the aircraft are tested by flying the aircraft over the threats to see if the enemy radar can detect it.

This is the air force version of a sites the navy has at NWC China Lake called Randsburg Wash Range NATO site, Randsburg Wash Range Sea Site,

They are radar countermeasures research sites.

These are the sites that they test stealth aircraft against.

The radars they have are foreign anti air radars for gun and missile.

I used to work at the navy sites.

There's a very large number of "somethings" in Nevada.

As far as that picture is concerned, military bases need clean water too!
