Here is the 2012 Movie Teaser. What do you guys think?

I think it looks awesome, but I find it strange that Sony is telling you to "Google" 2012 for the truth. Why would Sony advertise Google like that? Anyway, enjoy!

Its just marketing. Sony and Google have signed a marketing agreement for the movie. Its no different from a movie signing up with a resturant chain like Burger King or McD's to promote the movie.

Its all promotion, helps to sell tickets and sell movie promo material and collectables.

Its a common practice. Nothing to worry about.

What weirds me out is the buzzing noise in the background - sounds like a swarm of bees. Wonder if it is deliberate considering what's been happening with the honeybee populations..

its not new its like 3-4 mo. old and it's in like 5 threads already.

disappointing.. thought it was a new trailer.

I love these kinds of movies.

Prevenge, do you know more about what the plot is (other then total death, which I'm sure their will be a hero for to save them)?

Judging by the trailer I mentioned, a comet hits the world, causing massive destruction... but that's okay, because humanity will have an intervention of sorts, with the coming of the "Shiny Ones".

I thought that was deep impact. E.L.E..

It is kinda funny how we have a black president with the supposed end of the world coming on. Just like in Deep impact.

I have to check out the "shiny ones".

Haha that's funny.

But the real movie does look interesting, I like these sort of movies, because I'm a learning 3D artist, and I LOVE seeing what people accomplish in 3D in movies, like those huge waves that I assume are 3d CG for example, amazing.

Have you guys heard about Cameron Crows new movie? From what I understand they are not using cameras, but some sort of new recording device?

Anyone know anything about that?

Edit: Maybe your talking about that 3d vision thing, Stereo 3D. It's an old illusion, but I heard that they are going to make Stereo 3D TV's, sounds cool.
