TOKYO (AP) — Toyota Motor Corp. is secretly developing a vehicle that will be powered solely by solar energy in an effort to turn around its struggling business with a futuristic ecological car, a top business daily reported Thursday.

First I have to clarify. According to The Nikkei, Toyota's currently working on vehicle that get some of its power from solar cells. Only later on they hope to develop a completely solar powered car.

Is that even possible though? A car that completely solar powered. If it is, I don't think the technology itself will be available at least for another decade. It's just hard to imagine that we don't need to pay a dime to power our car.
