My Dad, Dorwin E Brown, claimed to have taken part in the battle of the, "Chosin Res". I need help, confirming this.
He passed away two years ago, Nov 20, 2006.
He was a former Marine, and also a reservist for them, so he served longer than enlistment. He may have had parts to play, in other matters during and beyond the cold war.
I just want validation, of his enlistment, and his history in the Marines.
Unless, his history, with the Marines, is tied into national security.
Then, I don't want to know.

You guy's and gal's out there with connections, please help, or give me a direction.

Well, when did he serve? What was his MOS? If he was in the infantry during the Korean War, then the odds of him being in the frozen Chosin. Tracking down the units that he served in shouldn't be too difficult.
