Not sure what point your trying to make with the 13 rounds being fired but god man give it up....its annoying...plus if your spewing the 13 out for the reasons I assume, it shows me your not knowledgable enough to debate the reason why so many rounds were fired.

No, they should be determined guilty first, and then hung out in the town square for everyone to see.

And while scrolling down, looking at the photo of all the people who committed heinous crimes, comparing the amount of black people to white people there, then ask yourself how much better America would be if there were no Black people here and we shipped them all back to Africa.


According to the FBI, black people commit about 70% of all crime in America (despite them making up only about 15% of the population).

To put that in perspective, that means if there was no blacks here, you more than likely would never be a victim of crime not even once in your entire life.

Just found a very interesting article on the Cherokee Nation. They kept several thousand black slaves, and because they fought for the Confederacy during the war they had to free their slaves and give them citizenship in the Cherokee nation (whereas other tribes were NOT forced to free their black slaves after the war).

Anyways, turns out they are trying (or tried) to expel all descendants of those black slaves from the tribe last year.

How come this was never all over the national news? This is blatant, large scale racism, how come it wasn't on the front page???? Oh wait, cause only white folks can be racist, that must be why.

The 250,000-member Cherokee Nation will vote in a special election today whether to override a 141-year-old treaty and change the tribal constitution to bar "freedmen," the descendants of former tribal slaves, from being members of the sovereign nation.

Agent, I think you are an extremely racist person. There is a direct link to the high rate of crimes commited by black people and the war that is waged against them. A Black American is statistically proven to be discriminated in every aspect of his or her life be it health care, education or crime.

In social history there is a link between poor disadvantaged people compared to the well off irrespective of race or colour. If Black people commit more crime then one has to ask the question why. It was not long agao that you had the apathied system in the US and many white people still hold this view as witnessed by the comments of cetain members on this thread.

If any group of people are marginalised and treated differently than anyone else crime stats mirror that trend probally with the only eception of the Jewish people. If you look at the US Government figures relating to Black people in the US it is glaringly obvious why he crime rate is so high. Its quite simple if the whites hold all the wealth which they do then the minority gruop will target them, its purely a matter of logic and reasoning.

During Katrina, whilst the rich white people bugged out no effort was made to secure the black population. Left to their own devices they did what anyone would do in that situation, survival of the fittest. Only when these social inadequeces are dealt with will there be a reduction in crime. Black communites on the whole are aware of the situation they are in and respond accordingly to the white controllers.

On the point of shipping them back home, where you would like to start as they are just as American as you you have no more rights than they do. If we are going to split hairs one could say all none native American Indians have no right to liv in the US as they stole the land from the indeigenous population oh and not before they comitted almost a complete genocide on the Native Americans.

Whilst I dont' support those who commit crimes I can understand their attitude given how they are treated. Perhaps you should remember that from the civil war right up to the present day black people have given up their lives for they country they love and were born in and have been and still are proud to serve their country.

I am guessing that the tribe doesn't want to share its casino money with the black members of the tribe? What's next? Are they going to extend tribal membership to the Kansas City mob since they "manage" their casinos? Follow the money.

Yes, I am, and it's completely natural - remember, that until about the early 1900's, there was no such thing as "racism" until Karl Marx invented the concept of it. Since the dawn of mankind before that, "racism" was a natural human thing that every human practiced.

Studies have shown that the crime rate between rich white people and poor white people does not change too much, however the crime rate of poor black people is extremely high, and the crime rate of rich black people is still slightly higher than poor white people.

So poverty, is no excuse at all.

Because the white people were smart enough to listen to the weather forecasts and get out of the city long before Katrina even hit. I have a couple thoughts, the article says that the kid tried to run them over.... first ..was he trying to get away or run them over, and how did they surround him to shoot if he was driving?

THen... I would like to know how dangerouse were these residents that they had to send .. 90 cops to meet them, and if 30 shots were fired
durring the riot... who shot at who and who missed 30 times.

Now we know that the car was NOT stolen, and that there were NO guns in play or DRUGS at all. Typical police murder.

Here is what happened and is happening all over the nation: A thug cop sees a black person in a decent car and ASSUMES all sorts of nonsense. profiling leads to this outrage. Then, when the cars all stop, one of the thug cops STEPS DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE CAR, thus giving them the ' danger' needed to justify killing the innocent. If the cops would NOT jump right in front of the cars...some only fleeing and not involved in any other criminal acts at all, then they would have to chase the car down and take control...but thats no fun!!

Its exciting and thrilling for these donut munching thugs to shoot at unarmed drivers after jumping in front of them. Thats all there is to it.

Cops CREATE the situation where they are in danger, specifically so they can shoot at the drivers. We see it all the time on COPS type shows: The cops box a car in and before it is all over and calm, some cop jumps out right in front of the car and if the car moves ONE INCH in their diretion they open fire, claiming that they were in danger!! Its a set up all the way.

i hope that MORE riots happen and MORE cops have to face the results of the infamy. As long as thug cops are executing people for driving offenses....as long as cops create the danger and use it as justification for murderous force, the people will react. Black people are fed up, sick and tired of seeing decade after decade of police brutality and perjury...lives lost because the cops have no respect for human life if it is wrapped in a color other than white..families devastated because some cop wanted some excitement that day and decided to leap in front of a car and start shooting...one day outrages like this will result in either the cops facing trials or entire cities will burn.

Whatever it takes to get control of these thug cops is fine with me.

Wow…I live in Georgia, and there are LOTS of black people driving around in expensive cars. If it was government/police policy to shoot them for that reason I am surprised it hasn’t made a dent in the population.

And yes…killing of innocents. Justin was a little angel….and he came from a family of fine people as well…

He had an extensive criminal history and had been arrested at least 15 times in the last five years. Justin Elmore pleaded guilty to 3 felony drug charges in 2006. He didn't serve time under the first offender status. While on probation, he committed several violations. But still Justin Elmore remained on the streets. How? And why?

Justin Elmore, a convicted felon with an extensive drug history, was suspected of carrying drugs and guns through Cherry Tree Crossing. He was on probation and had just been rearrested again for coc aine this August. Another drug arrest would probably send him back to jail for violating is probation...or would it?

Since 2002, Elmore had been arrested several times, as many as 15. News 12 obtained nine booking photos from 2006 alone. Justin's family has an extensive criminal history as well. When he was just six years old, his dad, Austin Elmore, was convicted in Richmond County for aggravated assault. When he was ten, his sister Lawanda Ward and two others murdered Nicole Hawes in a drive-by shooting at Underwood Homes. The next year, his father was arrested again for burglary, shoplifting and escape. His brother, Austin Elmore, Jr., also spent time in and out of the legal system.

This was very sad. I grew up in this neighborhood. I attended TW Josey HS. Everyone knows there is a police substation in Sunset projects. I don't know whatever new name they call it now. That's what it is and always will be.

This part of Augusta is nothing but poverty and always has been since I was a child. I no longer live in Augusta because if you are Black from this neighborhood you don't have many options in life. I was fortunate to get a scholarship to attend college and move away.

Police CAN NOT shoot up a car for accusations of an alleged crime. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? I now live in Atlanta and look what the police officers did to the 92 year old woman in her home in the middle of the night. Someone said drugs were being sold out of her home & a NO KNOCK WARRANT was issued.

If some one broke into my home I would shoot too. They shot this elderly lady over 12 times and killed her. Now I don't know if this young man stole this car or had drugs but what happened to disabling the tires of the vehicle. I thought police were to preserve life first not take it.

It is easy for people to say poor people should pull themselves up from the boot straps. However when you attend substandard schools, there are no opportunities in your neighborhood to work and the outside community frowns upon you for being poor what do you do?

I worked my behind off to leave Augusta, GA because it is a hick, redneck, small mind mentality town which they want to say is a city. I have lived in many major cities due to relocations from the companies I have worked for but there is nothing on this earth that would EVER make me want to move back to this dysfunctional town and I have family who still live there.

One day Black people in these neighborhoods will say enough is enough. We deserve the same rights and respect as the police officers utiilize in White communites. There would have never been 90 poiice officers mobilized for a vigil in a White community such as in Martinez or the Bobby Jones area. What are the Augusta police officers saying all poor people are animals or criminals? Just because you are poor does not make you a bad person or a criminal.

I am so disgusted and ashamed to say I'm from Augusta, GA.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all Augustans who live in these poverty stricken neighborhoods.

maybe, just maybe, black people are more prone to riot because they have been poor and hungry and kept in social poverty for a bit longer than white people.

i won't comment on who has been keeping them in social poverty, dunno, lots of people, but the fact is, they've been there for longer than most.

Maybe it's their own fault. Maybe blacks just don't have the brains for most jobs today. They do extremely well in high-paying fields that don't require intelligence such as athletics and entertainment.
