Let it snow, let it snow, let snow.....

It is snowing at my house, which is a rare occurrence. I just figured I would share my joy....

Oregon is grand isn't it Karl? I'm loving it too. So cozy. Is your daughter begging to make snowmen like mine?

STILL snowing here.

I have a fire in the fireplace, not unusual for me, but it's extra cool today.
Should last a few days too so they say....

Would love to be neck deep in snow.

This coming week we will be in the mid 70's and 80F Thursday.

I have a cabin reserved in the Tennessee mountains in February. Hope to see snow then.

It is a family ritual to go find snow every winter. There will be 18 family and friends traveling together this year. The cabin has 6 bedrooms.

The trip should prove to be very entertaining and interesting. Hopefully we'll still be friends on the way back home.

No snow for me right now.

We've had snow three times in the past three weeks here.
They are calling for "significant" winter storm for my area Monday night into Tuesday morning. The unfortunate thing is that they are calling for ice accumulations.

So they just gave us a 7 day forecast. They didn't have us getting above freezing in the entire forecast. They said if it holds true, it would be the coldest streak we have seen in 30 years.

for now......

Here is my little girl in the snow. This is a few days after the actual snow hit, so it is mainly ice at this point.

We don't get snow in this neck of the woods, err, cement city. The closest was hail earlier this year. So yeah, let it snow, which I remember well during my childhood. Neat stuff! All fluffy and puffy and cold, too!

what a little snow angel she is Karl. Do you ski?
I used to. I've been to Hood a few times but we always went the other direction to Mt Bachelor.
