CIA Embedded in Every State Government: Jesse Ventura

Former Governor Jesse Ventura exposes he was interrogated by more than 20 CIA agents during his term of office in Minnesota. Despite the CIA's mission statement which states they are not to be operational within the Unites States, Ventura stated that he had embedded CIA agents working in high level positions of the Minnesota state government. Ventura also said that when these agents retired, their replacements were already chosen for him by the CIA.

Why on earth is the CIA infiltrating state gov orgs, particularly when their mission statement claims they do not?

Man, I swear, every facet of our government tiers have been taken over by goons.

There is some really creepy undertones to this. Jesse definitely has cajones the size of church bells to talk publically about a lot of the stuff he does...

I think Jesse took one too many body slams over the years while he worked.

I wouldn't say CIA as much as DHS which has entered into every level of government down to county level. Many large cities have DHS personnel in place for instant response. Some of these guys are not just FEMA. You take the money they offer, there are strings.

Makes sense. The SS needs to make sure their political goons are in line with the Fuhrer.

I agree! I've always admired Jesse for his career; he went from a wrestler to a serious actor then politics and from what I've heard, had done a good job while in office.
I'm glad he stepped up and spoke out! I wish he'd have spoken out sooner though.

I remember him saying that they interrogated him to see how he got into a position so high up without them noticing! He said they seemed concerned that other people (who weren't selected by them) were making their way into powerful positions.

It just goes to show that officials aren't elected they are selected, and Jesse actually slipped through the cracks... but that won't happen again.

I was scratching my head when they investigated the Governor of Illinois for like the past 4 years or so, then of course they wait until he cuts ties with Bank of America over the workers striking, then coincidentally the very next day the feds slam him with the goods they have on him? it left me wondering, is everyone actually under investigation and tapped in high levels of state, federal and local government so that at anytime they can be dispensed of politically? and if he ( Jesse )claims it is the CIA, he means the cia, not DHS or some other organization, they show him credentials i would think, he says he was questioned by 20 of them? I believe what he says, I challenge anyone that knows otherwise to come with the goods and prove this allegation false.

Seems kind of strange as Jesse seems to get himself in the news quite consistently but never overtly for a significant amount of time.

While I wouldn't be surprised that the CIA has ties in our various government institutions, I am kind of wary towards the motivation of this story...

CIA is so weird. They are just odd people / live weird lives / think they are movie stars.

It's just so WEIRD!

I watch the show 24, and think about how the CIA must be working in the US. Why wouldnt they? It would be crazy for them to sit outside our borders with the way the world has changed.

We all pay their wages, we all expect the highest of protection from them. In the past terrorism was outside our borders, now it is inside.

So it would be as if the CIA could only catch the criminals once they leave our borders and what good would that do?

Remember they have the intell which keeps us safe, they have the intell which keeps us from being destroyed by factions which want us dead, everysingle one of us.

Laws and rules have to change to accomodate the world we live in today, not 100 years ago.

Remember there is good and bad in everything. I have known families of CIA agents and they are very very family oriented and down to earth. They are humble and care about our country and its people, our freedom.

Yes they have weird technology which invades our privacy, but that is nothing new. I do not like it, but have been aware all my life.

This is a great post! But trying to find motovation behind it is hard. I'm just trying to figure what Jesse's trying to do here. He has a track record of being honest and true. And at the same time... All the wrestling moves in the world won't save you from the CIA.

I wasn't trying to imply that he was lying, but I sure wouldn't place him on a pedastel above human nature. Everyone has reason to lie. To idolize someone to the point of believing infallability is a rookie mistake...

I still cannot understand how Chuck Norris became a relevant personality in politics for being a martial artist and TV star...-sighs-

Now you all wonder about how it was possible for Obama to become president
or how the current Governor of that state could sell his senate seat. DUH its being manipulated by the CIA.

Why wouldn't they infiltrate all others aspects of our government, they use military people to do the same thing. Some think the CIA has moles in every branch of the government including the military services. True or not, it can paint a pretty scary picture.
