Glenn Beck canceled from CNN

www.glennbeck.com

Glenn’s TV show will be moving to Fox News Channel, beginning early next year.

In the mean time, Glenn’s show on CNN Headline News has come to an end.

Don’t despair: Glenn will begin making appearances on Fox News soon. To keep up to date on when Glenn will be on, make sure you’re signed up for our free daily email newsletter.

It would appear Glenn was having an affect on the Obama rise to godhood, so he had to be stopped by the messiah..........despite very good ratings, Glenns gone but will be picked up by Fox News in january.

Recently Glenn has been pounding Obama for being a socialist, heck even a marxist, and it appears the messiah through his vast empire had Glenn killed off........

Glenn has been speaking out, loudly, about preparing for the upcoming true economic crash and potential of martial law. He admits that both politicians are not speaking the truth to the American people and we must educate ourselves quickly of what is to come.

I'm afraid his move to Fox News will squelch his candid outrage of this government, from his independent/libertarian perspective.

YAH-HOOOO!! I cannot stand that gasbag and never understood why CNN would cheapen their brandname and reputation by giving him any time at all, muchless during prime viewing hours. He belongs with the rest of the extreme right, xenophobic and thakfully increasingly irrelevant nutjubs that pretend they are representing the truth with facts to back it up.

There is no conspiracy, Beck signed a multi-year contract with Fox BEFORE he was canceled by CNN. The only thing motivated by this move is green in color, as I doubt CNN would have given up the cash cow that is Beck voluntarily.

Though it looks like some lady has already replaced Glenn Beck, it'd be nice to see Jack Cafferty get his own time slot.

I love his grumpy, old-man, just rip apart stupidity approach toward politics.

That's nothing but a positive for him. He'll have exposure to a much larger potential audience at Fox than he does on Headline News. In his current timeslot, he gets about 700k viewers. From what I've heard, he'll be in their 4pm CST slot before Brit Hume's show, which typically pulls around 2 million viewers.

No doubt, he's better off.

I gotta ask, because your post makes no sense to me, have you ever watched/listened to his tv/radio programs? I watched the TV show a half dozen times when it came out and used to listen to his radio show daily. I certainly never considered him to be "extreme right" or "xenophobic". In fact, I considered his show to be more in the comedy genre than the political one...which is why I liked listening to him. There was certainly a dab of politics in there, but 90% of his show was comedy.

I can't say I'm surprised. I don't think it's so much about FOX vs. CNN as it is him being off the air at this time.

He was/is part of the innoculation for what's coming. Now he needs to go away so when the event happens, the maximum amount of fear will be felt crossed with the quickest response time of acceptance by the public.

Their timeline is accelerating greatly.

If anyone feels they can trust anyone directly involved with the MSM, I would suggest a re-evaluation of that specific belief.

Right... like any conservative watches CNN. He's going to a place where he'll get better ratings and have a more friendly audience.

Yeah... I can see the conspiracy there. Must be Obama.

(Love how he blamed Obama. He must be God since he is responsible for everything bad that happens to you people.) Crazy people...

The most conservative host on CNN is moving on over to the most conservative channel on cable, FOX. Why is this a conspiracy? I'm sure it was by choice. I'd rather be surrounded by like-minded people over people who always disagree with me, wouldn't you?

The question is... is he objective enough to have been pounding McCain for the same? After all, McCain voted for the earmark laden bailout bill that is being used to "socialize" the banking industry. He also wants the government (a.k.a. the taxpayers) to buy up all of the defaulting home mortgages, at their full former value, and then refinance them at their current value (taking a big loss) thus "socializing" housing.

As far as heading to Fox is concerned; Beck is a tool, and he's simply heading to the big red toolbox. No conspiracy here.

Not to mention he wants to basically socialize the health care system also through tax rebates.

Basically doing exactly what Obama is saying but instead of making health insurance cheaper and more affordable, it stays the same price but we have more money to spend.

Same thing, different method.

He hammers McCain, Bush, Obama, Biden, (he likes Palin) and
shows some effection for Ron Paul.
For at least 18months, he's been the only one in teh MSM who has been
speaking the truth of about the economy and what is to come.
(Maybe Lou Dobb's a little) but the right wing clowns on Fox and Rush L
have (and today even) been pumping the economy was fine and this current issue is only minor.

Well, it's nice to hear that he hammers the rest (though I'm a bit sketchy on the liking Palin bit), and that he respects RP.

I'll admit that I've only seen his show once. I forget the issue he was discussing, but he displayed such ignorance that I was amazed he was given national airtime at all. Since then I merely chalked him up as just another talking head pundit, and I have no need for such spoon fed opinions when it comes to what should be a source for legitimate journalism.

Congratulations to Glenn Beck on being called up to the Major Leagues!

That's sad actually- I think it did CNN some good to have him on there. It made them look at least a little more fair and non biased in their idea of 'news'. Glenn speaks from the heart- I think he's honest and sincere. I dont necessarily agree with all his points of view- but, come on..How can anyone dismiss him as a nothing? The true way to confirm your own beliefs and opinions is to listen to others who share opposing beliefs - That is the best way to truly know all sides of the story in order to sure your ideals are set in stone.
I'm honestly so sad about this... I was actually just waiting for his show and was wondering where he was?

Thanks guys for the latest info. I really appreciate it!

I do receive his e-mails- but does anyone know exactly when he comes back to television ?

For me this issue is why Beck and other political pundits are a problem. It's really not that hard for a true journalist to put their beliefs and opinions aside in order to report the basics; however, it seems that the majority of people no longer want the facts. They'd much rather have their personal opinions & beliefs reinforced and that's why tools like Beck are given airtime at all. The public has been conditioned to accept opinion pieces as "news".

Cafferty is as left as they come. I cannot stand those who are so blatantly one way or the other and yet try to pretend they are not bias.

Campbell Brown comes to mind another CNN leftist. And they actually gave her a spot titled no bias no bull........ Please

FYI I am from Canada so none of this really matters... now back to your regularly scheduled thread.....please do carry on
