I stumbled across this Quicktime video. It looks like it's rather old, but the explanation given seems... well... I don't know about convincing, but it is interesting to think about.

www.thetaxpayerschannel.org...

Does it sound feasible to anyone?

Hahahaha! That video is hilarious - everyone should watch it.

No. That is not scientifically possible. The water under the crust would have been under such pressure and heat (being in the mantle, so close to the core), that it would instantly boil as soon as the pressure was released. That would mean that all that water would have raised the temperature of the earth something incredible, which surely would have been mentioned in the Bible, as it's far more impressive than a bunch of rain.

Again, this is just another example of religious types starting with a desired outcome (the flood) and trying to shoe-horn evidence in to explain it. It is the complete opposite of science. He even went as far as to explain away plate tectonics, because only one explanation can be true - either plates were sliding around on the earth at 45MPH (as the joker in the video says), or at a few centimetres a year (as every single shred of evidence geologists have found points to).

Don't let slick animations and all the right words fool you - unless there is actual evidence for it, it's rubbish.

Not to mention the fact that this clown suggests that oil and natural gas were created in a few thousand years. What an ass.
