I don't know what kind of planet you live on to have this impression, but I'm assuming it's run by some type of gestapo type government, especially if you think the UK will condone some snatch squad paramilitary action.

It ain't up to the law lords, nor the government, nor the various alphabet agencies in the US - it's now up to the European court of human rights, and those people don't give a damn what the UK government thinks, or the US government.

If they make a ruling, then the UK will abide by it.

That is the fact of the matter, rather than the CIA/Tom Clancy fantasy that you are proposing.

Duh!

That's the point! No evidence offered = no trial over here in Blighty. Is that such a hard concept to understand. Don't tell me.....................you've got a degree from an American University!!!!

The ECHR will UNDOUBTEDLY rule AGAINST the extradition of Gary and the extradition of any future victim of this arse about tit extradition treaty......................if not against the treaty itself.

Europe, whether the US likes it or not WILL stand up to your crumbling Empire. It will stand up to the British govt. and any other govt. that treads on Human Rights.

That's the whole point of the ECHR. Duh!

You're complaining about multiple threads? Awwwwwww. Poor Sham!

That's right. We're everywhere and we won't go away. Just ask the British media and govt. We're giving them quite a headache right now over this.

Whassup? Rather we went 'silently into the night'?

Not the British style DUDE!!

To respond to something you asked, in regards to if there is proof the government has prosecuted hackers for breaking into government computers. ( I do have information )

How about Kevin Mitnick? ( Hacked into a lot of things ) Jonathan James, Max Ray Butler, Jeanson James Ancheta, Markus Hess.

Just a small list. Some from the US, some from out of the country. All had some connections with military or government computer attacks.

9 Notorious Hackers

Gary McKinnon

Something to think about, anyway. ( Sorry for being off topic, but had to answer this comment )

If you care about Gary write to the Home Secretary or even to the Prime Minister via the 10 Downing Street website.

[email protected]

This is a trvesty of our justice system which is supposed to protect our citizens yet this guy is being thrown openly tot he lions.

He should be tried in UK if at all for this "crime" of trying to seek the truth.

Well said Nexus 1. We are right behind Gary on this despite those who cannot see beyond their own blinkers.
