I'm not sure as this belongs here, as it is religious in nature but is in no ways a religious conspiracy.

www.lolcatbible.com...

That link leads to the LOLCat Bible Translation Project, an effort to translate the entire Bible into LOLSpeak, a babytalk-like version of English that is used to caption funny pictures of cats, which are known as LOLCats. Just a funny little thing.

If this is in the wrong place, I apologize.

That is really quite funny. Especially when I read it out loud to myself...I feel a new hobby coming on! (Yes I know I need a life!).

I see a 'conspiracy' here...perhaps unintentional as it may be.

But that is the dumbing down of the language so that Adult minds are speaking and thinking, essentially, mono-syllabicly and with very infantile inflections....it may be humourous, but where is the growth in reading baby talk?

Check up on IngSoc (1984 by George Orwell)...Short for English Socialism. The essence of IngSoc is to slowly take away words from the English language so that the means of communication of various complex themes and ideas are made impossible by the complete lack of representation in the language.

Funny stuff...but don't get stuck there.

O Hai!

I don't think anyone would be reading it for spiritual growth or enlightment. The only thing it's good for is a hearty laugh. I love LOLCats.

If anything, the people who adhere most strictly to the bible would probably be offended by this 'translation'. Any takers?
