Do you understand the fundamental difference between "Journalist and "Commentator"?

I cant believe people still watch these 24/7 news channels anymore. They all are propoganda machines! How much coverage of the Kucinich Impeachment motions was shown? Instead of real investigative journalism we are bombarded with images of Britney, Brangelina and absolutely unimportant information.
This is true for CNN, FOX, MSNBC and whatever other networks.

I'm sorry that I haven't had the time to read every post on this thread. But I think most individuals have already realized the the media is not "fair and unbiased" in any way. Just look at the people who own those media outlets. And people that are that rich are almost always connected to politicians for obvious reasons.

Unfortunately, you and I have to get the real news from other sources. We can't trust what we see on TV.

Speaking of TV, as a Veteran, I have an affliction that makes it more advantageous for me NOT to watch ANY TV. Think about how you are bombarded every day with shows and commercials and everything that goes with that.

I haven't watched ANY TV for more than 6 months. I get my news online from BBC online. And I can't even express to you how much less stressed out I am since I haven't been watching the tube. In my opinion you have to let your brain rest a little during the day. Instead of watching TV I watch the squirrels that I feed in my yard. It's a lot cheaper than cable and it's relaxing to me. And if you think you'll be missing something by not watching the tube you're wrong. Every important thing I needed to know about was reported on BBC Online.

Please give this a try for a week. You'll feel much better in your daily life, I guarantee. And your mind will feel clearer. And I don't mean in a "New Age" kind of way.

Talk about envy! Listen to these people!

I find it interesting that those people who claim they are not programmed are quoting a source that is known to be a propaganda outlet. Crooks and liars is nothing but a mouthpiece for the Democrat party, and it is more biased than any major network and spews more propaganda in 1 hour than Fox News could spew in 1 month.

Although I disagree with a lot of your other conclusions, I think it is very right to point out the spin by crooks and liars, the outfoxed people, and so on. The dems are just as strong on propaganda/docuganda as any other party, in fact, I think they may be the best at it, with 'experts' like robert greenwald and others.
