CARSON CITY, Nev. - The 28 branches of 1st National Bank of Nevada and First Heritage Bank, operating in Nevada, Arizona and California, were closed Friday by federal regulators.

The banks, owned by Scottsdale, Ariz.-based First National Bank Holding Co., were scheduled to reopen on Monday as Mutual of Omaha Bank branches, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. said.

These bank closures are up to six or seven? With draw your cash and invest in stones and metal. This economy is failing.

I'da thunk this mighta been bigger news. I'm I know its early in the hour, But this will affect todays trading exchange, our economy and it is one step closer to the total collapse.... This is the stuff the prez assured us to be Ok. This is like watching the great depresion from my GrandParents age... (still youngen, Adults in my famliy breed later in life)

I have $2.56 in my bank, but I think the price of gas would
cost more than that for me to drive down there and withdraw it, hehe.

If your counting bank failures to find out if the economy is heading south,
your going to be unprepared for what is coming.
millions of jobs are going going gone
bread lines are coming
they know they can not get your guns from you and rip up the Constitution without making you grovel for bread crumbs.
when your groveling on your knees will you know then that the economy is
in depression or will you have heeded the call of Ron Paul and Lydon Larouche
years ago and prepared for it the last couple of years?

I saw another thread about one of these two banks involved here ATS related thread link

This here is 28 branchs and two main banks... THIS IS BAD, Yes? am I alone in sweating this? I don't use banks true but I do worry about those of you that do? I have no idea how yall whom keep bank acounts,are gonna react when your bank tells ya that you can not withdraw your money.
