Report: NASA Distorted Global-Warming Studies

www.foxnews.com

WASHINGTON — NASA's press office "marginalized or mischaracterized" studies on global warming between 2004 and 2006, the agency's own internal watchdog concluded.

In a report released Monday, NASA's inspector general office called it "inappropriate political interference" by political appointees in the press office.

"Our government's response to global warming must be based on science, and the Bush administration's manipulation of that information violates the public trust," said Sen. Frank R. Lautenberg, D-N.J.

Once again the Bush Administration has been caught censoring information and putting a political spin on global warming studies.

When we reach that point of no return someday soon, and realize that the only chance to save this planet was stolen from us by corrupt politicians with an agenda to support corporate profits over the survival of mankind, do you think we'll even get an apology?

I hear the weather in Paraguay is going to be nice in a few years..

Not really shocking. This lowers my trust of NASA even more. After they got caught intentionally hiding air traffic data to avoid hurting the bottom line of the airline industry, they made it pretty obvious who they serve.

If we can't trust them to give us accurate info on domestic issues like global warming and air traffic safety, can we really trust them about any of their other information?

It doesn't seem to be NASA that's the problem, but the political appointees that are running the show and twisting the research to promote their objectives.

When you think about how easy it is to manipulate ANY government agency by putting your boys in the driver's seat, it's foolish to believe anything we're told anymore.
