These "wheelchairs" are the invention of a guy who's wife was involved in a car accident and ended up being paralyzed, unable to walk.

The family loves nature and, even though his wife was in a wheelchair, they would still go camping. But they found it hard to get his wife around in the woods and in soft sand.

SO, he came up with these two "wheelchairs" so that his wife could still enjoy the great outdoors!

The Tank Chair

And this, the Speedchair

Tank Chair is a Custom off-road wheelchair that can go anywhere outdoors. TankChair conquers streams, mud, snow, sand, and gravel, allowing you to get back to nature. Using rubber tracks and high torque electric motors, TankChair can take you just about anywhere. Even the urban street and stairs, with a incline accent of up to 45 degrees, TankChair will take you anywhere and back.

Now his wife can get to just about anywhere she wants to go!

Here's a couple (5) videos of the "Tank Chair" in action.

He's selling these "chairs" now, and for every 10 chairs he sells, he is going to donate one chair to a Fire Department to give to a disabled person who can't afford one.

Pretty cool rides if you ask me! (GRUNTS TWICE)

See this is the kind of American I like - one who is honest with them selves!

Got to say - If you could stick a 3 point harness and GPS on that thing I'd take it to the pub, hand the bar staff a note telling them which button to press to send me home and get even more drunkererra then normal!... Technology in the wrong hands is never a good thing.

Kudos to the for every 10 donate one policy, that's the sort of thing that's gonna attract attention - and with attention usually comes investment, oooh look business college was not a total waste of my youth
