A suspicious package was found on the DC metro today on the redline near Roosevelt and DuPont circle. It was found on a seat in the last car.
It was found to be a paper covered box filled with more cardboard and paper. Needless to say, that people are ticked that some hoaxster did this
during rush hour, causing long backups, on the hottest day of the year.
But what I thought was interesting that they just wrote on the box: Dear Bombland Security.
I haven't been able to find a good article. This is all I got. I read the Bombland security bit on the news, but none of the articles seem to be
mentioning it.

I am not saying it wasn't a joke.
I knew it wasn't a real bomb threat.
But part of me is curious if someone is taking advantage of the situation to send a message,knowing that either way, it was going to get broadcast.
In other words, does the message itself: To the Department of Bombland Security, refer to anything?
