I want to make this thread for people that BELIEVE in GOD and READ the BIBLE.

If those people have ANY questions they could ask them here and other members inluding me can answer and clarify them.

This thread is open for ANY question about what is in the Bible.

Honestly, when is the last time you read the bible?

What are the Nephilim?

Do you think Cain was a product of Eve/Snake in the Garden? He was the first murderer after all... Evil came from some where no?

Do you find it odd that there are occult symbols such as a Cross as in two lines crossing, with a sun place on it, found on zodiacs? Do you think this has anything thing to with the "son" being put on the cross?

ok, I'm not a christian but I do have a question that I have wondered about.

Exodus 22:18
Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. (KJV)

I know that many times a bible passage is "updated" for the times or we are told that it meant something else back then. But what of this one?

I believe... in a thing called love

Please... Just listen to the rhythm of my heart
There's a chance we could make it now
We'll be rocking 'til the sun goes down
I believe in a thing called... love

More Questions:

Did Judas die by hanging or by falling onto some rocks?

Is God good or evil?
Psa. 145:9. The Lord is good to all.
Is. 45:7 I make peace and create evil. I the Lord do all these things.

Is it alright to call someone a Fool?
Matt. 5:22 Whosoever shall say Thou fool, shall be in danger of hellfire.
Matt. 23:17 (Jesus said) Ye fools and blind.

How can God be Jealous if he isn't Human?
Ex 20:5 "...for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God..."
Gal 5:19-20 "Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are...jealousy..."

I've heard of time where Jesus is alive but not really accounted for, some say he traveled across the lands, what do you say?

When did David bring the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem? Before defeating the Philistines or after?

Was Jesus crucified on the daytime before the Passover meal or the daytime after?

I looked up Exodus 22:18 in my Bible, but i found a better one....

Exodus 22:21

Do not mistreat an alien or oppress him...

I know its not an outer space kind of definition, but why not?

The Old testament is full of interesting scriptures that shouldn't be taken too literally. Its historical and there are lessons to be learned, but don't stone anyone or burn an animal carcas for sacrifice...please...

sorry in my Bible it says...

"Do not allow a sorceress to live."

Which means to kill all people who have BLACK magic powers.

But this is in the OLD Testament.

I live by the New Testament as Jesus said.

Cain was the product of Eve and Adams SIN.

Okay, you can't take scriptures out of context and expect to have any kind of argument. Matt 5:22 is about being angery with a "brother", but Matt 23:17 is a whole chapter about the hypocricy of the Pharisees.
"You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold or the temple that makes the gold sacred?"

This thread is for those who honestly have questions about the Bible, not for those bent on "disproving" it but sniping bits and pieces of it. If you actually read these scriptures that you're butchering, you may understand. Don't cut and paste what some other athiest has told you.

I'm going to be reading Matt 23 several times tonight when I sign off. Thats a great chapter...you should read it sometime (before you quote it)
