Great Australian UFO film from the 1970s featuring candid interviews with Stephen Spielberg, Jacques Vallee, Keith Arnold, Dr J Allen Hyneck and (a very young) Stanton Freidman.

It also has a very interesting interview at 59:35 concerning antigravity/free energy

video.google.co.uk...

Cheers.

Interesting, but when the whole picture is viewed,
old Stan's true Intentions
come to light. (pun intended)

Nonetheless, a fun watch.

Regards,
Lex

Wait, I'm confused. Is this genuine or not?

Interviewer: I'd like to ask you a direct question you work in the field of anti-gravity could you make what we call a flying saucer?

Stan Deyo: Oh yes, with adequate ???s and time, sure, um, I'd still be doing it for the research organizations if I hadn't differed in philosophy. That's where I got in trouble, because I stood up and said, "Why are you doing this?" And, uh, it wasn't for me to know UFOs. If they don't exist, are these electric flying saucers and if they don't exist in our current technology I'll give it to the world I'll be a hero, but I'll tell you right now that I don't need to do that; it's already done.

^^A quote near the end. I'm also intrigued at some of the things he said the energy could be used for (regenerating limbs, transmitting energy wirelessly, weapons, and distanced mind control during sleep). So yeah, for people who want to watch this video, I suggest watching the first 20 minutes, then skipping toward the end (I almost fell asleep in the middle because it was so boring).

Thanks for the replies, its pretty interesting stuff - the documentary is quite an informative one and goes to show how seriously the UFO subject was taken by many people in the seventies.
The interviews with Stanton Freidman,Jaques Vallee and Stephen Spielberg are quite interesting -as is the part when Dr J Allen Hyneck states he initialy was sceptical about the UFO subject but after objective analysis of the evidence reversed his position.
The man in the interview at the end also makes some intriguing points about how antigravity research was documented in news archives before suddenly dissappearing off the radar.

We're also treated to quite a lot of Star Wars footage-do you think the documentary was sponsered by George Lucas?

Cheers.

Anyone out there have any information on the claim in the film (59:35)
that the discovery of antigravity was covered by several major US newspapers in the 1950s only to be shelved and never heard of again?
