Raining outside, but not a cloud in the sky!

Its raining and there are no clouds anywhere to be seen. Probably not the biggest cover-up the world has ever seen, but sure does piss me off a lot!

Uh, this is a very common event and people who go outdoors a lot see it lots. There's a lot of ancient superstitions and legends about it; to the Japanese, rain with no clouds in the sky means that the foxes are having a wedding.

In Germany, they say "the Devil is beating his wife."

Common weather phenomina... really.

we have a proverb for that too

when it rains and the sun is shining, the Devil is getting married.

in my part of the world, it's a pretty common occurence, no one even thinks twice about it.
