Whats going on with Britney, a cry for help, seriously damaged goods or attention seeking. I hope she gets the help she obviously needs. Sad but you see it all the time, too young to handle the fame, the wealth. Young sportsmen and women, film and music stars, too much to soon imo, not given a chance to grow and mature and experience life as a normal kid.

BRITNEY Spears has flipped her lid in rehab, trying to hang herself with a bedsheet after screaming "I am the anti-christ" to frightened staff.
She made the demonic cry after scrawling the devil's number "666" across her head.

Wow this is really messed up.

Finding almost too hard to believe I tried to find some other sources of the story.
Here is one from Skynews.com.au

It mentions the news was originally reported in a "British newspaper."

Yeh News of the World reported it first which aint a great source, but it has just been reported on our morning news programs here in Australia, which is a bit more credible.

Someone needs to show her how to tie a proper noose so there won't be any problems.

Peace

www.news.com.au...

According to the article the clinic workers 'don't know what to do with her'.

WTF?? I'm sure she's in a top dollar clinic ... and they supposedly dont' know what to do with a suicidal person??

Either the story is bogus, or she's in rehab that has idiots running the place.

I for one think that she is a waste of skin. I want her to live though. Why? Because they finally stopped talking about that Bimbo Anna Nicole. Imagine the redundant coverage if/when Britney dies?

Promises rehab centres website. At $48000 for a 30 day stay i reckon i might try to top myself as well. Since when does being pampered and indulged help to cure addictions.

Who comes to Promises for addiction treatment?
Celebrities, parents, business executives, grandparents, heads of state, college students and anybody who is looking for a life free from the effects and influence of alcohol. Our multiple Southern California locations and diverse inpatient and outpatient treatment programs allow us to serve individuals and families from many levels of financial ability.

source abcnews

Rogg downplays claims that his celebrity clients are overly pampered at the $1,600-a-night facility.

Clients typically stay for a minimum of 30 days

So how do many individuals or families from many levels of financial ability afford $48000 a month.

source. Maybe the reason the staff apparently didnt know what to do is that they are substance abuse specialists not mental health specialists?

However, since her return to the centre last Wednesday night, it has been reported the Lucky singer could be suffering from post-natal depression.

A source said: "Britney had two children in very quick succession and saw her marriage fall apart. It looks like she was suffering from some sort of depression and it wasn't helped by the cocktail of alcohol, drugs and prescription pills she was taking."

All she needs to do now to totally shred her image is join a Death Metal band, now id pay to go to see that

Its sad to say, but I wouldnt be surprised if she was dead by the end of the year.

Its gonna take some serious steam to pull out of that downward spiral:w:

Nice 'do, though.

Hey, i dont know why the owners of ATS havent come up with a rehab forum for those of us who are a little.....you know....off the wall?
I'd have plenty of company there for sure.

Instead of banning, do rehab. How's that for being In-Vogue???

Now she's sneaking out to go shopping. She also is in denial, saying that she's not addicted to anything and she's blaming her family.

She may really have post partum depression .. but she's also got some serious abuse issues. Her partying is out of control.

Cant find much more about the alledged suicide attempt.
Shopping for what i wonder. Maybe a chat with someone like Drew Barrymore would do her more good than some $48000 a month 5 star playground.

The 25-year-old has reportedly not been on her best behavior at the facility. A source adds, "(She) has been getting in tons of trouble. (She's) been reprimanded for making cell phone calls, has left the facility to shop, and now she wants to leave rehab for good."

Brooke shields holding out her hand. At least she can relate, i guess.

source

Brooke Shields, who chronicled her own struggles with postpartum depression in a memoir, reached out to Spears this week, telling Access Hollywood, "If she wants to talk to someone, I'm available."

I can't find anything about this story here in the U.S. It's not on the news at all. I guess having money can hide your dirty laundry to some degree.
