WHo is your greatest guitarist? Or even favourite

My vote goes to Tom Morello. He does the most strange solos and manages to use what he calls a Toggle switch to do those scratchy noises. Jimi Hendrix...The birth of the guitar solo!

Without a doubt! He is an awesome guitar player and has a very sexy bluesy voice. He is Ozzy's guitar player btw..but he went off on his own as well.

Though my personal favorite is Kirk Hammett.

The rifts he plays are amazing. And he was a student of one of the best, Joe Satriani.

Best Guitarist is tough. KrazyIvan seems to have picked the most likely list that I would also choose.

Best Bass Player however.

OH MY!

I totally agree...and being a musician myself...I know.
I saw Malmsteen in concert about 15 years ago...and it was awesome...he played Eruption by Eddie Van Halen with his teeth...and butt. It's all in the power chords...and he whips through them...with hardly any effort...fret...by fret.
