RVD hit a plancha over the top onto John Cena and Rene Dupree to knock them down. RVD picked up Cena and tossed him inside and made the cover for two. RVD rolled Cena up again for two. Cena fought back and whipped RVD to the ropes but RVD slid outside and threw Booker into the ring. Cena rolled up Booker for two.

Cena went to the outside and threw Dupree in. Booker T then knocked RVD down on the outside and threw Cena inside. Dupree kicked Cena on the mat and he and Booker double teamed Cena in the corner.

Booker hit a vertical suplex and then hit a knee drop. Dupree took over and dropped a fist on Cena and then Booker whipped Cena to the ropes and scored with a sidekick and Dupree made the cover but Booker interruped. Dupree then rolled up Booker and the two shoved each other but Cena got up and went to work on them. Cena whipped Dupree into Booker and hit a back body drop on Dupree and then hit the Throwback on Booker T.

John Cena scored with the FU on Dupree but then Booker hit the Scissors Kick on Cena and then covered Dupree to eliminate him. Booker then made the cover on Cena, but Cena kicked out! Cena and Booker traded right hands and Booker knocked Cena down with a back elbow and made the cover for two. Booker T then locked in a rear naked choke on the mat.

Cena fought to his feet and punched Booker in the mid section but Booker knocked him down with a side kick and made the cover for another near fall. Booker then locked in a variation of a choke on the mat on John Cena as Cena reached to the ropes. Cena battled back with right hands and then whipped Booker and knocked him down with a clothesline and then a back elbow followed with the side slam.

The finish:

Cena then hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Booker for a near fall. Cena then pumped up his shoes but Booker attacked Cena and rolled him up for a two. Booker knocked Cena down with another kick and then called for the Scissors Kick but Cena moved and then hit the FU and made the cover for the victory!

Winner, and still United States Champion, John Cena

Backstage:

John Cena was shown walking through the backstage area and he looked to be exhausted and he walked by Miss Jackie and Charlie Haas. They congratulated him on his match and John said that he's got the belt and he said something about below his belt and then walked off. Kurt Angle showed up and he said that he can't believe how far Charlie has fallen. He had so much potential. Now he's hanging around with John Cena, flirting with Miss Jackie. He used to care about nothing but wrestling and now Kurt is disappointed in him. Charlie said that he doesn't care and Kurt told Charlie that he has another protege and his name is Luther Reigns. Kurt Angle promised him a match at the Great American Bash and he can't think of a more fitting opponent than Charlie Haas. If they had any plans tonight, he suggests they cancel them because Charlie's match with Luther is coming up next.

Backstage:

Sable was shown in a hot tub and she said that the Smackdown! Divas will be hosting the Great American Bash from the hot steamy water. They will be interviewing the Superstars of Smackdown! and since Sable gets the first interview, she will be interviewing the biggest star of them all; herself. Tonight, she has a match with Torrie Wilson. Everyone thinks that Torrie is the all American girl but nobody looks better in red, white and blue than Sable!

Charlie Haas vs. Luther Reigns

The music of Charlie Haas hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring along with Miss Jackie and this is a one on one match with Charlie Haas facing Kurt Angle's protégé, Luther Reigns. Mid-match notes:

Luther Reigns whipped Charlie Haas into the corner and as Charlie came out of the corner, Luther pressed him over his head and slammed him down to the mat and then pinned him for a two count.

The finish:

Luther Reigns used the "roll of the dice" on Charlie Haas and then pinned him for the three count to pick up the win.

Winner - Luther Reigns

Backstage:

John Bradshaw Layfield was shown in the backstage area and he said at Judgment Day, JBL guaranteed victory over Eddie Guerrero and at Judgment Day, JBL delivered victory over Eddie Guerrero like he always does. What he says he does, what he wants, he gets. The only reason Eddie Guerrero is the WWE Champion right now is because he got himself disqualified on purpose at Judgment Day. That is fact, documented fact. Tonight, Eddie Guerrero cannot get himself disqualified because there are no disqualifications. This is his match, the Texas Bull Rope Match and he is going to drag Eddie's carcass all over the arena. John continued on, talking about the pay per view and his match against Eddie Guerrero and he guaranteed that tonight, John Bradshaw Layfield will become the new WWE Champion.

Cruiserweight Championship Match
Referee:
Chavo Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio (c)

The music of Chavo Guerrero hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring as the challenger for the Cruiserweight Championship against the defending Champion, Rey Mysterio!

The start:

Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero stood face to face in the ring and Chavo talked some trash and then he stepped back and the two locked it up in the center of the ring and Chavo put Rey in a waist lock and took him down to the mat and Rey got out of it and grabbed Chavo by the arm and rolled him up to get a two count.

Mid-match notes:

Chavo Guerrero worked over the left knee of Rey Mysterio and he put Rey in a half crab and Rey used his right leg to kick Chavo in the face to break it up. Chavo then went for a back drop of sorts but Rey countered it into a bulldog to pull Chavo down to the mat but Rey looked to have landed on his left knee on the way down.

Chavo lifted Rey onto his back and Rey spun around into a hurricanrana to pull him down to the mat. Chavo then whipped Rey into the corner and Rey hopped over Chavo and landed on his knee, giving Chavo the opportunity to capitalize by grabbing Mysterio. Chavo grabbed Mysterio and gave him a suplex onto the turnbuckles, leaving him stuck in the tree of woe position. Chavo charged at Rey Mysterio but Rey pulled himself up and Chavo went sailing into the ring post and then to the arena floor. Rey then went to the top rope and came off with a senton on Chavo to take him down to the mats on the outside of the ring.

Chavo Guerrero and Rey Mysterio battled on the very top rope and then both men tossed each other down to the center of the ring and referee Charles Robinson started the count on both Mysterio and Guerrero as they were down and out. Chavo got up and pinned Rey for a two count but Rey countered it into a quick cradle for a two count.

Chavo went back to the knee and he gave Rey a slingshot and Rey landed on the second rope and came back with a drop kick to send Chavo down to the mat. Rey then ran off the ropes and hit Chavo with a springboard cross body and then he gave Chavo a side Russian leg sweep and a pin for a two count.

Rey jumped on Chavo Guerrero but Chavo caught him and countered it into the Gory Bomb and then he covered Mysterio but only got a two count.

Rey Mysterio hit Chavo Guerrero with an Enziguri to knock him into the middle rope and then he gave him the 619 and went for the West Coast Pop but Chavo caught him in a single leg crab in an attempt to get Rey to tap out but Rey crawled to get to the bottom rope but Chavo pulled him back to the center of the ring. Rey Mysterio finally crawled to the ropes to break up the hold to stay in the match.

The finish:

Chavo put Rey in a power bomb position and he went for the Gory Bomb but Rey Mysterio countered it into a sunset flip power bomb into a pin for a three count to get the win!

Winner and still Cruiserweight Champion, Rey Mysterio

Backstage:

Torrie Wilson was shown in a hot tub with Billy Kidman, Funaki and Spike Dudley and they were talking about the Cruiserweight Championship Match. Kidman claimed that if he was in the match, he would have won it and then the three argued and Torrie Wilson stood up and said that she's going to let them argue about this on their own. She has a match to get ready for against Sable, wish her luck! All three men took a look at Torrie Wilson and Funaki's reaction was a slow; God bless America!

Kenzo Suzuki vs. Billy Gunn

Kenzo Suzuki's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring, accompanied by Hiroko and this is a one on one match with Suzuki facing Billy Gunn in a rematch from this past Thursday night's edition of Smackdown!.

The start:

Billy Gunn and Kenzo Suzuki tied it up in the center of the ring and Kenzo powered Billy Gunn into the corner and the referee started the count and Kenzo went for a chop in the corner but Billy ducked out of the way and Kenzo hit the ropes. Billy Gunn then mocked Kenzo Suzuki and the fans cheered as he did a crotch chop.

Mid-match notes:

Billy Gunn did the most horrible version of the Perfect Plex in the history of wrestling as he didn't bridge and both of his shoulders were down on the mat as Suzuki's shoulder was up off the mat yet the referee counted a two count in favor of Billy Gunn.

Gunn whipped Kenzo into the corner and gave him the stinger splash and then he went for the fame-asser but Kenzo avoided it and kicked Gunn in the gut. Kenzo then ran at Billy Gunn and gave him a knee to the face and then pinned him for a two count. (Kenzo missed the knee but they went with it anyway.)

The finish:

Kenzo Suzuki gave Billy Gunn a modified back breaker in a headlock position and then he covered him for the three count to get the win.

Winner - Kenzo Suzuki

Backstage:

Paul Heyman was shown standing in the backstage area with Paul Bearer tied up in a chair. Paul Heyman said something about this really bothers him. Everybody thinks he's bluffing. The Dudleys think it, the authorities think he's bluffing, which is bad for Paul Bearer because no one is going to be there to save him. Bearer knows Heyman isn't bluffing, he knows what type of man he is and what he is capable of because if the Undertaker does not do the right thing tonight, he will have no problem pulling that lever and then he is going to watch as the concrete flows into that crypt and the concrete comes up past his knees and the concrete comes up and fills his torso and then it gets even better because then Paul is going to remove that gag because he wants to hear him scream for the Undertaker as that concrete comes up for his neck and then the Undertaker doesn't do the right thing, Heyman will have no problem pulling that lever again and he is going to watch as that concrete engulfs his entire head so that the Undertaker's conscience is buried in a concrete crypt. But Bearer doesn't have to worry about that, now does he? He's sure the Undertaker is going to do the right thing, right? For the past three weeks, that's what he has done. He has done the right thing and tonight against the Dudley Boyz, for Paul Bearer's sake, Heyman is sure the Undertaker will do the right thing. Heyman said even if the Undertaker decides to do the right thing tonight, who is to say that Heyman will do the right thing? Bearer tried to mutter something out, but was unable to speak.

Referee: Charles Robinson
Sable vs. Torrie Wilson

Sable's music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring for a one on one divas match against Torrie Wilson.

The start:

Torrie took Sable down to the mat and mounted her and gave her a number of right hands until Sable shoved her off.

Mid-match notes:

Sable put Torrie Wilson in a reverse choke, applying the knee to the back at the same time as Tazz asked the question; who has the blonder hair, Sable, Torrie or Charles Robinson?

The finish:

Sable and Torrie knocked heads and Sable looked to be out of it and Torrie wanted to go for the win but the referee did not allow her. As Torrie showed concern, Sable rolled Torrie up, hooking the trunks to get the win with the most horrible cover of the night. (Shoulders weren't even down.)

Winner - Sable

Backstage:

The Undertaker was shown in the backstage area in the dark halls of the arena and tonight, the Undertaker must make the right decision to keep Paul Bearer from being buried alive in the concrete, tonight.

Backstage:

Dawn Marie was shown standing by with Rene Dupree and Dawn said that he must be upset about the fatal four way tonight. Rene said that he got cheated and the United States Title should be his. He's not going to be upset because French people do not get upset, they get even and he is going to protest to get a rematch for the title. As for tonight, he must say Dawn is looking ravishing. The French are far better lovers than fighters... would she like to see his French tickler? Rene then did the dance and the FBI showed up and Nunzio told Dawn that if she wants to be impressed, why not take a look at his 15 inches? Nunzio then showed Dawn his boot and he said you know what they say about guys with big feet, guys with big feet... get it? Dawn went with Nunzio and asked him what size he said his shoes are? Johnny Stamboli approached Rene, asking him what size he is? A size six? Stamboli then went on his way as Rene Dupree did not look too happy.

WWE Heavyweight Championship Match
Texas Bull Rope Match
Referee: Nick Patrick
John Bradshaw Layfield vs. Eddie Guerrero (c)

The rules of this match are pretty much the same as a strap match. No need to explain it. John Bradshaw Layfield drove out into the arena with his limo and this match is for the WWE Heavyweight Championship with Eddie Guerrero defending the Title against JBL in the Texas Bull Rope Match!

The start:

At the sound of the bell, JBL and Eddie felt each other out with the bull rope and then JBL went for a clothesline but Eddie ducked it and gave JBL a drop kick to the knee to send him down to the mat.

Mid-match notes:

JBL hit Eddie Guerrero and touched one of the corners and then Eddie Guerrero nailed JBL with a drop kick to send him into the turnbuckle and Michael Cole explained that JBL just has to hit two more corners to win the match but Tazz corrected him, saying that Eddie Guerrero interrupted it with the drop kick.

JBL put Eddie Guerrero in the tree of woe position and then he got out of the ring and wrapped the rope around Eddie Guerrero's neck to choke him out and the referee tried to stop him, telling him that he cannot beat him like this. JBL then took the cover off the Spanish announce table and then he pulled Eddie Guerrero off the ropes and pulled him out of the ring and slammed him into the American announce table. JBL pulled the top off the American announce table as well and then smiled. JBL got up on the table and set Eddie Guerrero up in a power bomb position but Eddie ducked down and wrapped the rope around the leg to trip Bradshaw. Eddie then mounted JBL and gave him a number of hard right hands as the crowd chanted "Eddie, Eddie!"

Eddie Guerrero picked up a steel chair and nailed JBL with it to bust him wide opened, shades of what JBL did to Eddie Guerrero at Judgment Day. Eddie then brought the steel chair into the rope and Eddie nailed him once again with the steel chair and JBL was covered in blood. Eddie then went to the corners and hit three of them and he went for the fourth but JBL went to the ropes to hold Eddie back and the crowd cheered in anticipation as Eddie reached for the fourth corner but JBL pulled him to stop him. Eddie then gave JBL a drop kick to the head and then a leg drop. Eddie Guerrero choked away on JBL with the rope and blood literally poured down the face of JBL.

Eddie Guerrero gave JBL three vertical suplexes and then he went to the top rope and came off with the frog splash and then he went to the turnbuckles and touched the turnbuckles and he went for the fourth corner but JBL rolled out of the ring to stop Eddie from reaching the fourth corner.

JBL wrapped the rope around Eddie Guerrero's neck and then he pulled him from the top rope to launch him onto the Spanish announcer's table and the table did not break and Eddie bounced right off of it and went crashing down to the arena floor. JBL then lifted Eddie Guerrero up and gave him a power bomb right through the table to send the table crumbling down to the floor.

JBL then brought Eddie Guerrero into the ring and then he touched one corner, two corners, three corners and he went for the fourth corner but Eddie Guerrero ducked down and held onto the ropes to stop JBL from getting to the corner. Eddie clenched onto the bottom rope to stop JBL from reaching the corner and then JBL went back to work on Eddie Guerrero.

JBL knocked Eddie Guerrero down and he went to the corners and hit three of them but Eddie Guerrero stopped JBL from hitting the fourth corner. Eddie Guerrero gave JBL a low blow with the cow bell and then he nailed JBL in the back with the rope a number of times.

The finish:

Eddie Guerrero went around the ring and touched some turnbuckles and JBL touched them as well. JBL and Eddie both hit three and JBL went for the fourth one but Eddie Guerrero pulled him back to stop him from hitting the fourth one. Eddie nailed JBL in the back with the cow bell and then he jumped on JBL and touched the turnbuckle and JBL also touched it with his back but Eddie Guerrero's music hit in the arena and he was announced the winner and still WWE Champion... or NOT.

After the match, Kurt Angle was wheeled out on his wheelchair by Luther and Kurt said to listen to him. He isn't out here because of any personal vendetta, he's out here because as the General Manager, he needs to do the right thing and he needs to make sure that the right decision was made. Kurt said we all need to see the footage of the end of that match, so please show the footage. They showed the footage of Eddie Guerrero and JBL both hitting the turnbuckle and JBL hit the turnbuckle first with his shoulder. The rules state that it doesn't matter which part of your body touches, all that matters is who touches first. Kurt apologizes but as the General Manager of Smackdown!, he has to announce that the winner of this match is the new WWE Heavyweight Champion, John Bradshaw Layfield. JBL was surprised and Eddie Guerrero did not want to give up that title but was forced to and we have a new WWE Champion in John Bradshaw Layfield.

Winner and new WWE Champion, John Bradshaw Layfield

The Aftermath:

Eddie Guerrero remained in the ring and despite his title loss, the fans showed him a great amount of respect.

Non Title Match
Handicap Match
Referee: Brian Hebner
The Undertaker vs. the Dudley Boyz (c)

Paul Bearer was shown sitting in the crypt and if the Undertaker does not do the right thing in his match against the Dudley Boyz. Paul Heyman accompanied Bubba and D-Von out to the arena and he remained at the staging area as the Dudleys headed to the ring as the Tag Team Champions and this is a non title match. As the Undertaker made his way out to the ring, Paul Heyman stood next to the cement truck and held the Urn up and the Undertaker took a look at him and then headed towards the ring. Paul Heyman took the mic and he said that before this match begins, he just wants to make sure that tonight, the Undertaker has decided to do the right thing and just incase it crosses his mind not to do the right thing, this is just a mere demonstration of what will happen to Paul Bearer. Paul Heyman pulled the lever and cement poured right into the crypt and the Undertaker just looked at him. Bubba Ray said to prove to the world that he is with them. Bubba told Taker to do the right thing and lay down.

The start:

The Undertaker got ready to fight Bubba but Bubba told him not to even think about it. That man's life is in the Undertaker's hands. It doesn't matter how he feels about it, do the right thing and lay down! The Undertaker got down on one knee in the ring and Bubba said that's it. Taker laid down on the mat and D-Von signaled for a three count. Bubba sent D-Von out of the ring and Bubba got on top of Taker and said that he has been waiting for this moment his whole life. The Undertaker grabbed Bubba Ray by the throat and D-Von got in the ring and he grabbed him by the throat as well and Paul Heyman said that is not what he calls doing the right thing. The Dudley Boyz then laid into the Undertaker with a number of right hands to send the Undertaker staggering around the ring.

Mid-match notes:

On the outside of the ring, the Undertaker slammed Bubba Ray Dudley's head into the announcer's table several times and then he whipped D-Von into the ring post, shoulder first. The Undertaker then nailed Bubba and then he grabbed D-Von and brought him back into the ring and beat up on him. The Undertaker grabbed D-Von by the arm and walked the top rope and Paul Heyman said bad dog, bad dog! Taker hopped down from the rope and Heyman pulled the lever and filled the crypt with cement half way as Paul Bearer cried, saying the Undertaker will save him. Heyman told Taker not to test him again and D-Von charged at Taker and Taker knocked him down with a big boot. Bubba then grabbed Taker by the legs and pulled him into the ring post, groin first.

The Undertaker got both Dudleys down on the mat and then he bailed out of the ring and Heyman threatened Taker, saying one more move and he pulls it and it will be the end of the Great American Bash and the end of Paul Bearer. Bubba and D-Von attacked the Undertaker from behind and Paul Heyman said that was the wrong move, so he pulled the lever again to fill it up to Paul Bearer's chest. Bubba Ray went over to Paul Heyman and argued with him and he turned the lever off and he said that they started this and they can finish it. Once they finish with the Undertaker, then he can have Paul Bearer.

The Dudley Boyz gave the Undertaker a double team suplex and then Bubba went off the ropes and nailed the Undertaker with an elbow drop as Paul Heyman stood in the aisle way with a smile on his face. Bubba Ray gave Taker a couple more elbow drops and then he pinned Taker but only got a two count.

The Undertaker grabbed Bubba Ray by the arm and walked the top rope for the old school and came off with it to send Bubba down to the mat. The Undertaker then grabbed D-Von and went for a tombstone but D-Von got out of it and gave D-Von a low blow.

The finish:

Bubba and D-Von gave the Undertaker a double team neck breaker and Paul Heyman walked towards the ring with the Urn in his hand and the Undertaker sat up and looked into the eyes of Paul Heyman and Heyman held up the Urn and then Bubba nailed the Undertaker from behind. The Undertaker planted Bubba with a choke slam and then he gave D-Von the tombstone and pinned him for the three count to get the win!

Winner - the Undertaker

The Aftermath:

Paul Heyman said he thought they had an arrangement. He thought they agreed that he would do the right thing and it's obvious that he cares about Paul Bearer, so since the Undertaker will not do the right thing, he guesses Paul Heyman will have to do the right thing. Paul Heyman went towards the cement truck and a lightning bolt came down and hit the truck to send Paul Heyman down to the ground. The Undertaker then got out of the ring and walked towards Paul Heyman as he screamed in fear.
