Hi all,

This is my first ever post. I live in Brisbane Australia and ever since I saw a few docos on secret societies and symbolism I have started to notice things around my city that seem suspect.

Here's links to a few examples.

these are photos of a sign I keep seeing around town. I can't help but think it looks like the all seeing eye.

There's heaps of pyramid structures on and around city hall. The most obvious one is right on top of the clock tower and it even has a glowing ball on top.

On City Hall is a carving that some people say is racist but the artist who made it says it is about the enlightened ones coming to the primitive land. It is fairly strange and shows abuse of aboriginals. Why would we want that to be at the focus point of a city?

There are heaps more but I'm having trouble finding pictures on the net. I might have to go out and take photos of my own.

What do people think? Am i seeing something that isn't there or could my city be founded by the Illuminati??

Respectfully, I think that you are being paranoid, and that if such a group as the Illuminati exist that they would have little to do with nor would they be interested in a big country town like Brisbane

I think first off you should delineate between what you believe to masonic and what you think is from the Illuminati - they are two different groups. I do not believe the Illuminati is in existence anymore, as the historical group died some time ago, and so I obviously don't think there is any Illuminati symbolism there.

As far as masonic symbolism, about half your links didn't seem to work for me but from what loaded I didn't see anything that was particularly masonic.

There is a school of conspiracy theory thought that tries to find symbolism everywhere. I am obviously not of that school. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

As far as I know, nobody owns the copyrights to certain geometrical shapes, although many distinct, copyrighted logos employ the same or similar shapes.

...but if all signs, logos, and structures that incorporate triangles, circles, pyramids, or globes are viewed suspiciously, I don't see how one could escape the feeling of being totally surrounded!

What if the Illuminati started in Brisbane Australia? That would be so funny to hear if that IS true. I knew that Kevin07, PrimeTourist is a kind of a wacko, retarted and stinks of crap...everytime he talks about China. How it was like everytime Little JohnyHoward used to act the same with America.

It does bringup a Interesting Question. Where and When did the Illuminati start?

This movement was founded on May 1, 1776, in Ingolstadt (Upper Bavaria), by Jesuit-taught Adam Weishaupt (d. 1830),[1] who was the first lay professor of canon law at the University of Ingolstadt.[2] The movement was made up of freethinkers, as an offshoot of the Enlightenment[3], which some amateur historians believe was a conspiracy to infiltrate and overthrow the governments of many European states.[4] The group's adherents were given the name "Illuminati", although they called themselves "Perfectibilists". The group has also been called the Illuminati Order and the Bavarian Illuminati, and the movement itself has been referred to as Illuminism (after illuminism). In 1777, Karl Theodor, Elector Palatine, succeeded as ruler of Bavaria. He was a proponent of Enlightened Despotism and in 1784, his government banned all secret societies, including the Illuminati.

Seems pretty straightforward, and the reason most of his links don't work is because this is a two year old thread bumped by a anon.

Why do People mix Masonry with Illuminati? They are totally different. As far as masonic symbols are concerned you can find them ouside mason lodges, i am in western Australia and the WA grand lodge and other Lodges in WA have the Square and compas symbol outside the Lodge buildings. Free Masonry is not a secret society as their symbols are displayed and lodges are not hidden.. everyone can see them. They are rather a society with secrets and not a secret society

Ah ha, no wonder. What happened is I didn't see the anon posts (they had not been approved yet) and didn't bother to notice the 200-6. Ugh! The anons are really starting to annoy me.

I did some research and found there is actually a Masonic Hall in a small outer Brisbane town called "Wynnum" - which is apparently an Australian Aboriginal name.

So does this mean Brisbane is the center of some major Masonic base?

Umm, no sorry. As someone else pointed out - Brisbane is a large country town, and Wynnum is a small country town so far removed from the thoughts of the Illuminati or Masons or NWO or what ever it seems laughable that you would infer otherwise.

Try not to reed too much between the lines - you really will drive yourself insane.

ps.

Turn left into Tingal Road, and observe on the left - The Wynnum Masonic Hall. The Wynnum Lodge was formed in 1894 with 24 foundation members, and this Regency style Temple was built in 1920 at a cost of 4000 pounds. from: www.moretonbaylodge.com.au...

25 years ago when i was 15 i decided to draw the interesting latin writtings and symbols on the front of the old masonic lodge in Warwick QLD they just interested me. While i was drawing away an elderly man unloading robes from his van at the side of the building saw me stopped what he was doing and approched me and asked what do you think you are doing? I replied just doing some drawing and he asked to see and for some reason i became fearful of this old man in a way i cant explain. Not one to be easily frightened i found myself rushing away and when i got close to home i took my notepad out of my back pocket opened it up to where the page should have been but to my disbeleif it was removed. Icould have gone back to redraw it but didnt and have often wondered how that page was torn out. Since then the town of Warwick has had a well documented history of satanism in its youth, i wonder if their some way related. That old man was just evil! Ive always wanted to go back to Warwick and see that building, one day maybey.

Wow I was looking for symbolism threads and I stumble upon a thread bout my home city. The sybolism is here alright, but not any more so than it would be in any other city. The occult symbolism is global nowdays but what I find interesting are the symbols on much older buildings, and government buildings always have it but one may need to go inside and take a good look around the foyer at least. The logos are where most of the symbolism is now where the powerfull subconscious image is used to sell products, like most cities brisbane is littered with adverts. But go round inner city suburbs like spring hill and look at the older buildings, I dont take photos but always look out for it when im bored and I agree it is definetly here.
