Interesting post Liam.

This guy doesnt mince his words and I think he's only putting into music what alot of people here are thinking.

As for the bit you've highlighted I remember reading or seeing something myself about 3 or 4 men of middle eastern appearnce being arrested for taking pictures as the towers fell and for shouting and cheering as they fell.

I said think some stories claimed they were israelies but as I have no evidence of the stories or arrests its merely conjecture. I'm sure it's mentioned on a film like 911 myths or some thing like that, I'll try and find a link. Perhaps some of the older members may be able to shed some light on it.

Meanwhile could you get a link to the song, it would be interesting to listen to it hoe it's supposed to sound.

i believe it was the five (mossad) israelis that were seen jumping and cheering at the fall of the towers that were suspected of plotting to blow up the bridge.

maybe there ought to be a seperate thread on the bridge itself as a quick google seems to show a lot of interesting terrorist & george washington bridge related articles.

It refers to a little-known event that followed shortly after 9/11, and he pretty much sums up what exactly happened.

4 men were caught with explosives and structural blueprints of the George Washington Bridge in NYC.

They also do another song called "Bush Knocked Down The Towers" with Mos Def, a prominent name in the rap AND black actor community. I'm sure most of you heard some of this song in one of the 9/11 videos floating around.

Immortal Technique is full of this kind of stuff. One of my favorites. Its nice to see an MC using his skills for what they were intended to do: give a voice to the voiceless.

I wouldn't doubt if he wanders around ATS from time to time.

Yup i've heard that too.

And yeah i agree, i love Hip Hop and R & B but its nice to see some artist actually rapping about this kind of stuff instead of who they next going to shoot lol.

Immortal Technique is tha bomb, plain and simple.

Ive been down with tha clown since day one and will be down till Im dead in the ground. That said I.T. just blew me away. I heard 1 track then downloaded all his albums. Just like he says " Burn it off the internet and bump it outside". Immortal Technique will be huge, no doubt about it. Its spreadin now and nobody can stop it. He spits the message loud and clear and devastates with his lyrics.

One of my favorite tracks talks about how racism is there to make us fight eachother and not pay attention to whats going on in the world. Im damn sure with him when he says "I'll flip ya gang sign, and then spit on my hand".


This is the the point from which I will die or succeed, living the struggle, I know Im alive when I bleed.
From now on it can never be the same as before, cause the place that Im from doesn't exist anymore.

It was quite a surprise and delight to be perusing the forums and come across a thread titled anything related to Immortal Technique.

I discovered Revolutionary Vol.1 recently by chance and have been blown away. THIS is exactly what alot of people are looking for. No bitches and ho's or crap like that. After reading the lyrics above it seems like I will have to give Vol.2 a good listen.
